Sixteen-year-old Annaya Roth is fighting for her life to fit
in at yet another new school—and to escape the Dead.
Annaya and her mother, Samantha, just moved to the small
mountain town of Asherville. The people there are nice enough. They smile and
wave—but Annaya knows to not get too close.
Samantha is tired of running. She just wants to keep her
daughter safe. So, in one last desperate attempt to save Annaya—Samantha moves
them to the one place she never wanted to step foot in again.
This was certainly an interesting read and a little chaotic. It’s gruesome in parts and I really loved that the author wasn’t afraid to be graphic. A few time I felt down right sorry for this girl at 16 her life goes from one disaster to another. The dead really like her to know they are around.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I enjoyed my escape to the island. I found the revelations from Zion to be sad and loved how Logan was there for him. Yes, it was insta-love, but sometimes it's just got to be!
This is a short story but there is still a steamy time, plus the tension of not knowing if said dodgy boyfriend would show up. And don't forget the letters that Zion sent, which definitely made me chuckle. A thoroughly enjoyable story that I definitely recommend.

A summer escape she'll never forget . . .
Lucia has worked hard as a lawyer in Wales, aiming for a big promotion she hopes will shortly come her way. Finally taking a well-earned break at her grandparents' house in southern Italy, the sunshine, lemon trees and her nonna's mouth-watering cooking make her instantly feel at home.
But she's shocked to learn that her grandfather is retiring from the beloved family pizzeria and will need to sell. Lucia can't bear the thought of the place changing hands - especially when she discovers her not-quite-ex-husband Giacomo wants to take it over!
Then bad news from home forces Lucia to re-evaluate what she wants from life. Is this her chance to carry on the family tradition and finally follow her dreams?
I liked this more than I thought I would it’s not something I normally pick up and thought I’d be bored with it but it was a pleasant read. Definitely for those who love a summer romance.
