"At this point I was playing in a hardcore band, I was listening to hardcore, I was going to hardcore shows, and at a certain point it started get a bit old for me. This album showed me a way of being intense and meaningful and indeed heavy without distorted guitars and taking your shirt off and screaming at the front row. It planted a seed which, when Million Dead broke up, flourished into what I do now There was also a simplicity to it, because I had got into the complicated end of hardcore and bands like Dillinger Escape Plan and Botch, and there was something about simple chords on an acoustic guitar that reminded me of listening to Counting Crows. It was powerful to me. It planted a seed which, when Million Dead broke up, flourished into what I do now."

Bird of Passage Bird of Passage is a story about a boy and girl finding their own way. The boys name is Leonardo. It also about a girl named Azara. Leonardo goes to America to find work. He learns a lot about himself.He runs into trouble with a job and making friends. While there he meets up with a guy named Rizzo. Though he runs into a boy named Carlos too. He tries to help out  family members of the girl he loves.What will happen to Leonardo and his family back in Italy? He finds out who his real father is, once he goes back to Italy to be with his mother. There are many twists and turns in this book though out.There another boy that commits murder and tries to escape by going to America. What will happen to Carlos? There a gang that helps out and is on the estate of Mazzi.

Do you want to read a humorous thriller novella set in Northern Ireland? Of course you would, who wouldn't?

Bongo fury introduces Jimmy, a man who just wants to run his music shop in peace. But when a friend asks for his help he ends up plunged into a world of gangsters, organised crime and drug deals. He has to use all of his considerable wits to escape from this unscathed.

This story turns on the character of Jimmy, and fortunately he's a terrific narrator, regarding events with a world-weary black humour even when they turn very much against him. The plot is fairly slight but runs at a fast pace so that really doesn't matter very much. What matters is how much fun this book is to read, and it's a lot of fun. Even better is that there is a Bongo Fury 2 which carries the story on.

Note: Lots of bad language and some violence
