Pretty good!
A big difference to the Teeanage Witch I watched in the 90s. I have found it to be a great easy watch. It has a good plot and the characters are good to. My only problem is.... Salem. He doesn't talk. His sass is missed!

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
2005 | Adventure, Family, Fantasy
I love this adaptation of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The casting for every character is pretty much spot-on, in my opinion. It honors the story, which is the most important part.
Also, I have to mention that this was the first movie I say James McAvoy in, and it made me a life-long fan. <3

Practical Magic (1998)
Practical Magic (1998)
1998 | Action, Comedy, Drama
One of my all time favorite witch movies. I loved how they made it more of a natural magic instead of unrealistic magic such as the magic they use in harry potter stories. Its a movie I can watch repeatedly and still love every second of it.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)
The Wizard of Oz (1939)
1939 | Fantasy, Musical
One of my favourite films at Christmas time. I enjoy follow Dorothy and Toto through her adventure in Oz along with the Scarecrow, Lion and Tin Man in their search to find the Wizard so they can get a brain, courage, a heart and for Dorothy to go home. Love the munchkins and The good witch. An excellent film for all the family

Love the series
The details in this book are a nod to both native and witch craft and there is no disappointment if you are an avid mystery lover. The cliffs will have you crawling back for more

Wren is a witch who has disaster unintentionally follow her wherever she goes people get hurt around her. For some reason she has been sent to a boot camp to become a special agent even though she would rather go to prison!

She finds her self, friends and more all whilst training.

This is the first book in the series of the wring witch and I already want to read the next. I was so completely engrossed I felt like I was speed reading. The descriptions given of the different species for want of a better word, and the gifts they have I could see the character come to life.

We have mystery, laughs, hard work, heartache, fights, friendship, and love making (very, very steamy love making) it's a real feast for the imagination

A captivating book with a gripping storyline I really can't wait for the next!

Weird, just weird
1st time that I've watched one of the Studio Ghibli films and I've got to be honest it wasnt my cup of tea. Bit like the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, with a different storyline arc. Very strange and a bit of a mind trip.
Like I say, not for me, but lots of people love it. 8/9 for some. Just a 6 for me

Okay, so I am not usually one to read non-fiction books for fun. Honestly, I think this may be one of the first in a long time. But this one was really interesting.

If you know me, you will know I love history of witches. I just find it heartbreaking and interesting and I want to know all I can about it. This book is right up my alley. It explores not only the Salem witch trials of 1692, but also what led to those false accusations. It was fascinating.

I loved getting an in depth historical look at the New England coast and their various trials, not just in Salem. I would consider myself a fan of the witch trials. This book, I believe, is pushing me on the road to becoming a scholar. I want to find more and more about them. (Possibly even putting together my own research? Who knows.)

If you want a very well written and accessible history of the Salem Witch Trials, look no further than Stacy Schiff's book. Honestly, take a look.

This is a short but steamy coffee break book that tells the story of Gemma, the witch. She doesn't have much of a social life (being a witch) so every year she bespells a pumpkin man to do all the chores she hates. As a perk to herself, she also asks him to make love to her each year. However, one year a wolf shows up and the tale takes on a new twist.

Although this is only a short story, it covers a year of time. Well-written and with enough of a story to make it enjoyable, this has humour, passion and loneliness. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
