"Wax on ... wax off"

Classic 1980s family movie, that is almost like a toned down version of Rocky, and that sees Mr Miyaga train Daniel(san) after he moves to LA and becomes the victim of High school bullying by the local 'in' crowd who also train at the local Doyo whilst a young Elisabeth Shue provides the love interest.

And, I've only just recently found out, the superlative scene where a drunk Mr Miyaga recounts the death of his wife and unborn son in an internment camp was nearly left on the cutting room floor!!

When it comes to remakes or re-visions of old films I often find myself asking why? But as the original 1990 It felt very restrained and safe there really was room for potential with this adaptation. It is extremely watchable and enjoyable

More family friendly games than xbox one and a larger variety of games. It's easily portable for those nice long car rides with the kids or for sleepovers. (0 more)
I advise getting a USB card for downloading games or buying all physical games or you will run out of room quickly on your console. I also recommend purchasing a screen protector. (0 more)

A teenage Sherlock Holmes takes a trip to London to visit his brother only to find his brother as the only suspect in a locked room murder. It's an interesting and fun book, but it was rather slow to get going.

"This is angel music from a realm beyond. It is so evocative and gentle. I listen to the songs “Lullabies...Mother Sings...Father Plays...” and “Claudia Wilhelm R and Me” repeatedly, and I feel and learn something new each time. It is rare to find something that speaks such volumes but also leaves room for you to hear your own inner world."
