Hilarious yet defies belief
I’ve never seen The Room, although I’ve seen enough clips from it to be able to appreciate this film.

The Disaster Artist is a truly hilarious true life tale, it had me laughing all the way through. James Franco’s performance as Toomy Wiseau is fantastic, he really resembles the real man and is definitely the star of the show. It has a great supporting cast too, and from watching this you get the sense they had a cracking time filming it. My only concern was is this guy for real? Tommy is so bonkers that it really makes you wonder if everything is for real. But it does make for great comedy.

The thinking man's Saw :P
If you thought the Saw films were too gory and scary but you liked the idea, then this film is for you!
A group of individuals are invited to participate in a new escape room and quickly find themselves thrown into it without warning. There is a good mix of characters, the commonality between whom soon becomes clear. The puzzles themselves start well but quickly become quite vague and it becomes hard to accept that the people could solve them in the circumstances they are in. Also some of them just don't make any sense, so anyone solving them just seems ridiculous.
An enjoyable thriller with potential for more films.

"And then I would say second would be Lars and the Real Girl by Craig Gillepsie. You read the log line and you’re like, “Huh, blow-up doll. Interesting.” But then, the whole movie is really talking about everybody’s desperate need for community. We’re not made to be isolated; we’re not made to be alone. And also how the town embraces the doll. There’s even one time when Ryan Gosling had to let the doll go, and the whole town came and sat in his living room, and they didn’t say anything. Many times, in those kinds of death scenes, people have a lot of talking, but they just kind of sat there with him. I loved that"
