A Christmas in the Alps is a lovely and enjoyable story set for Christmas. You will find yourself wanting to find out more about the two main characters exploring France. This book is set during and takes place mainly in France around Christmas.

We meet Simone while she is cleaning out her great grandma's house. Her friend found a letter and read it to Simone. The letter starts Simone on her journey to discover her great-grandma's treasure and heritage. Will she find more than that? Will she overcome her flying fear? She meets Kyle during her flight from Seattle to France.

This story is doing a bit of genealogy and a bit of romance. So far, it is excellent. It looks like Simone has made at least two friends. There seems to be a mystery going on as well at this point. Is Leon's Aunt related to Simone's Great-grandma, or does she know anything about her Great Grandpa rescued during WW2?

Will Kyle and Simone find love with each other? Will Simone find the true treasure and family? There seems to be a family feud or a rift in a relationship. Can Simone find a solution and fix the relationship with her great aunt? To this end, you will want to read more from this author. Melody Carlson will bring you in to enjoy the culture of her lovely books and Christmas books. This one is no different.

Demanding Artist Underfoot at Christmas
It’s a few days before Christmas, and Meg Langslow is ready for the holiday and the invasion of family that it brings. What she isn’t dealing with well is Roderick Castlemayne. Roderick is a wildlife artist in town to paint birds for Meg’s grandfather’s newest book. Roderick has taken over the library in Meg’s house and is acting like a jerk in every way imaginable. Meg has finally had enough and is ready to kick him out, but someone takes care of the problem for her when they kill him. Once again, Meg finds herself involved in the investigation. Will she find the killer before Christmas?

It’s almost become tradition to drop in on Meg and company during Christmas, and I always enjoy these seasonal visits. The Christmas spirit is strong in this entry, although we did miss a few of the regular traditions around town. The plot had several fun complications, but I did figure out what was going on a little early. A few of my favorite supporting characters weren’t in town when most of the action took place (although I think they got the same amount of page time as they normally would), but the rest of the cast more than made up for it. Between these characters and the animal antics, I was smiling if not laughing as I read. Fans of the series will delight in this newest Christmas visit with old friends.

I admit- this was THE book that started it all for me... got my first Kindle for Christmas and devoured this title two days later. My first book in this genre and I was totally hooked. Couldn't contain myself when it ended, HAD to buy Fueled so I could keep reading! I'll always have a warm fuzzy spot in my heart for Rylee and Colton <3

With a couple of weeks to go before Christmas, Maggie should be focusing on getting into the Christmas spirit. However, she’s just learned that a businessman is trying to take over her family’s bed and breakfast built on their family’s plantation. When he turns up dead, naturally, they are all suspects, and Maggie begins to try to figure out what really happened. With a list of suspects that only grows, can Maggie find the killer?

We are getting quite a nice community in this series, and I was glad to revisit Maggie and her friends and family. The characters only grow stronger here and some relationships take surprising turns. The mystery is strong and kept me guessing until the end, and sub-plots compliment the mystery and enhance the characters. Throw in some Louisiana recipes and Christmas traditions and you’ve got a holiday winner.

NOTE: I received an ARC of this book.

The Pigeon Gets a Christmas Book
Santa needs to go wrap a few presents, but he leaves us with one request. You guessed it, don’t let the Pigeon drive the sleigh. And as soon as Santa leaves, Pigeon shows up trying to wheedle his way into driving the sleigh. Will he get his wish? Or will reality be different than his dreams?

Those familiar with Pigeon will love this Christmas entry in the series. It felt a little too familiar at times, but it was still fun overall. If you aren’t familiar with these books, the dialogue to us and stylized pictures will take a bit to get used to, but once you do, you’ll find the fun. I once again love that Pigeon sees his wish isn’t all he thought it might be, but this lesson is filled with humor. I can see this becoming a Christmas hit that is possibly requested year-round.

Miracle on 34th street has been one of my favourite classic christmas movie. That I would love to watch with my mom every christmas. It's a John Huges production which makes it even better. This one of course is the remaken of the older version. I would have to say I love this one way more than the first verison.
I still will always watch this movie every year because it's a pretty awesome watch and I reccomend it to you guys.
My favourite part in the movie would have to be when the santa a.k.a Richard Attenborough meets the little girl who is played by Mara Wilson for the first time.
Such a great moment.
