Gabby Summerhill is getting married. The question is, to whom? Will it be Marty, Tom, or Jacob? Each one has proposed to her, but she isn't revealing who the lucky groom will be until Christmas Day when her whole family is gathered together. Gabby hasn't spent a Christmas with her whole family since her first husband passed away. Once they are all gathered, Gabby will reveal the lucky man. Each one of Gabby's four kids has their own life and Gabby is always up to something quirky she even has her kids and grandkids call her by her first name.

I'm trying to get through all the James Patterson books I haven't read by listening to a few. I have long enjoyed his books and this one was alright.

Gabby is a high school teacher and a mother of 4. She is also a grandmother. Planning her wedding is quite an adventure and everyone seems to comply with the crazy idea of waiting until the wedding day which is also Christmas to reveal who sh is going to marry, even the groom doesn't know. It's fun to see how the story unfolds with nods to subjects like divorce, grief, and teenage angst.

Three stories that slowly merge into one? I need more of this in my life. Why can’t more books be written like this? Because I love that you get three different points of view and you get to see the turn of events that means that all three stories merge in the most unlikely way.

Every character is quirky, and I can’t say I would expect anything less from this group of authors. They are all so individual and really developed. It read like a perfect novel, with no plot holes or nothing left unexplained.

And I loved that it is so unique! There isn’t a Christmas novel out there that is quite like this, and I’m still hoping that one day it will get turned into a movie. It would make the most amazing film to snuggle up with.

Brutally effective cry-porn, succeeds at that and nothing else but it doesn't really need to - and considering how clunky the rest of it feels it's probably for the best that it didn't try to be anything more. Enough has been said about the very justified anger this caused in romanticizing this incredibly serious disorder but imo it isn't all too much different from how 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘴 also cheesily used cancer. Thorne and Riggle are terrific, Patrick Schwarzenegger gives one of the worst performance of 2018 and it's straight-up riotous to watch this guy try and emote. Has the 2014 artsy Tumblr hipster white-Christmas-lights aesthetic and everything. Mostly all I could have hoped for out of it as this stupid, overly-quirky genre of John Green clones continues to ironically swoon me.

Christmas in Key West is anything but peaceful when sabotage at a new restaurant in town leads to murder, and Hayley is right in the middle trying to figure out what is happening.

There are several sub-plots that overshadow the main mystery at times, but the book was always entertaining with characters I love. Things do come together for a logical climax. Overall, this was an entertaining book.

This book was given to me as a christmas present by my brother. When I first started reading it, it took me two attempts of the first chapter to find my flow with the style of writing. As i havent read a book with this writing style before, it's more like a play, or a collection of thoughts by various speakers.
That being said I thoroughly enjoyed it. And found it is the type of book you keep going back to for more. The story flows very well and at times Is so descriptive you feel the anguish Mr Lincoln must have been feeling at the time of losing his son.
