"It’s astonishing; one of those soundscape albums where the songs barely hold together, but somehow they do, so beautifully and so delicately. They’re like hymns, all of them. There’s a very spiritual quality to the chord sequences, straight from the church. It’s worshipful and soulful. In some ways it relates to Talk Talk’s last works. But they have that dark, dubstep feel to them as well. I just love the way he deconstructs songs. After I’d bought the album, it was on in a people carrier when we were being driven to a festival somewhere, and everybody was saying, "this is really dreary", but I had to pipe up and say, "actually it’s one of my favourite albums at the moment so can we leave it on?" I felt connected to it. I thought, "this isn’t dreary; it’s making me feel uplifted." I like what he does. I like anyone who takes songs and challenges the notion of song structures."

I love Kenji. So much. He was always one of my favorite characters, because he's so fun and loving and the friendship he has with Juliette (I just can't call her Ella) is so genuine and beautiful. This look into his mind was both interesting and heart breaking. People see a happy person, someone full of sunshine and positivity, and they never think to question them. The entire series before Find Me, he's a breath of comedic relief, the one I was always excited to have mentioned because he's just a great character - but hearing his thoughts, knowing he bears his burdens so well, I will never look at him the same. I still love him, possibly more than before. This novella is important for so many reasons in relation to the story and how it'll progress, but it was also necessary for those of us who love Kenji so much to get to know him a lot better!

You never meet your heroes
In an alternate universe, The Banana Splits Adventure Hour is still running on TV and the youth of today still watch it. Harley is a huge fan of the chaotic puppet rock quartet. Harley has few friends, his father died, and his brother is turning into a millenial. His mother gets five tickets to a taping of the Banana Splits show for Harley's birthday. Unbeknownst to the studio audience, the network has just cancelled the show. Now all those fans are in danger as the show has nothing to lose so why not oversized Sid and Marty Krofft puppets murdering people. The concept for the movie is absolutely brilliant. However, the child actors in the cast can carry the tone of the film. Some of the campiness is evident, but the filmmakers never really match the surrealism of the Sid and Marty Krofft original to counter out the horror elements the writers have included.
