Have you ever picked up a book, thought it was going to be mediocre and realized that it brought out the passion in you? I have read a few books that have truly spoken to me, Parnassus on Wheels is one of those books.

I fell in love with the characters. Helen wanted an adventure and she definitely got it. I wish that this was my life. I would love to take an adventure with a man that is passionate about books. There is nothing better than sharing a passion with someone. I know that I'm one of those people who wants to share my latest read with the next person.

This book makes you want to find your next passion. I know my new dream is to own a bookmobile and travel the world selling books.

Ultimately, this book earns 5 golden stars. I will definitely be rereading this.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
1977 | Fantasy, Sci-Fi

"Star Wars, the first trilogy. Obviously Star Wars is one of the landmark films of all time, being ahead of its time with special effects — the overall scope and perspective of that film being what it was at that time; not to mention the ingenuity of the story line and the character development of all of those films. I really like the fact that not only are we dealing with great characters, great storylines, great special effects, and all of those things, there’s the extra added element of spirituality, which a lot of people seem to either not recognize or ignore. But the fact is you’re talking about the dark side of the Force and the light side and what’s good and evil, and the Emperor, and the politics; there’s a lot of politics involved. I think it’s a great reflection on life as a whole."

Great Short Story Collection to Read Any Time
This short story collection features 15 stories from various authors that combine time travel and crime fiction. The stories are very creative, involving a variety of methods of time travel from people who build machines to those who stumble upon strange ways to get back in time. The periods range from people traveling to the present, to those traveling to Shakespeare’s England, a New Jersey beach town in the 1970’s, and a couple trips to the 1960’s to name a few. Meanwhile, we get a couple capers, a locked room mystery, and a hard-boiled PI among other great stories.

This is a very strong collection of stories. While a couple weren’t quite to my taste, I can see how others would love them and it was a very minor point. I laughed at a few of the stories, another couple made me cry, in a good way. Most importantly, I had fun. There are so many great stories in this collection, you’ll be glad you picked it up. And if you don’t get it now, you just might have to come back in time and yell at yourself for putting it off and depriving yourself of the joys of reading these stories right away.
