At the time that Meet John Doe was released the world was on the cusp of some very major changes that made the topic remarkably relevant. I would dare to say that our current world climate demands this movie to be watched.

An under the gun reporter penning her final article prior to her termination taking effect opens the eyes of seemingly the world when she manufactures a character (John Doe) who isn't afraid to express his true thoughts and put his life on the line (pun intended?) to hold them. The newspaper goes along, and even encourages, the deception once the article is widely recognized by the public and they see a gold mine in readership.

Many begin to relate to the thoughts displayed in the recurring articles to the point that the author begins to actually alter her own perception of reality.

Please do yourself a favor and watch this film. Commit to it.

Under the advisement of a counselor, a 15-year-old boy with Asperger's Syndrome writes a novel about his experiences, thoughts, and feelings. He novel shows how his mind works and how he deals with everyday situations. It also shows how his family struggles and adapts to his certain habits, dislikes, and passions.
I listened to the audiobook version, which has been highly recommended, and it didn't disappoint. The narrator was phenomenal!

Perfect Slow Burn Suspense Novel
I'm not usually into slow burns that dont have any big reveals, but I really enjoyed this one. The characters were mostly pretty unlikeable but very interesting. I thought it had a very oddly satisfying ending. To see more of my thoughts you can check out my youtube video-

Super Fun!
You really have to think on your toes for this game. Sometimes the pressure of the timer loudly ticking away on the table makes all coherent thoughts leave the brain. Overall though, I love this game! Its kind of like the alphabet game kids might play in the car, but you start with a letter instead of the category. Hours of fun.

OK The 2018 Oscar nominations are out.

I know we all have our own opinions about which movies should have been nominated; however, we don't make the rules. This year's list is an interesting one.

Which movie do you think will win? (Not which deserves to win). Please feel free to comment your thoughts below as well.
