This book was so fun :)
I loved all the unique stories and the imaginary British accents in my head (Sigh..). The stories are a mix of mystery, laughter, intrigue, and faith. I truly enjoyed reading this mix of stories; plus I found some new to me authors to read! The characters in each story were engaging and I really didn't want to say goodbye to them. I loved the lessons that the characters learned and thought that they were well thought out and grew as the story progressed.
I definitely recommend reading this book (or books as its 9 different stories) at the next opportunity. I give them a 4 out of 5 stars for the diversity, the creative characters, and for giving me some truly happy smiles.

Linda Brook Davis writes a beautifully crafted story that is one I will personally go back and read again. The setting was described in vivid detail making you feel like could actually see through the eyes of the characters. I felt that in the thoughts and feelings of the characters they were genuine to fit the circumstances. I liked that Miss Adelaide, even though she was going through her own struggles always went out of her way to help others. Not thinking of what it might mean to her personally. She is a very selfless character whom I admire.
I think that this book is a good example to follow on trusting God with our circumstances, knowing that he doesn’t necessarily take our talents away but gives us a new opportunity to use our talents in different ways that we might not have seen had we continued on our current path.

Great Book !!!

This book was a great start to a new series, I loved the reactions of the characters to the things that happened throughout the book. They were very believable, and they made me want to bake cookies :) .

I thought Myrna was a good character and I loved the play between her and Zeke, I wish it would have been a longer story as I didn't want it to end :)

The only thing that I didn't particularly like was all the bouncing around between the characters, however it was still a great story, and I would definitely recommend adding it to your TBR Pile. I can't wait to read the next book in the series !! I really love Sarah Price's Books :)

I volunteered to read this book from Kingston Books in exchange for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

I have to admit, the question of how an entity foreign to this planet would view certain things has occupied my thoughts on more than one occasion. This is pretty much what is at the centre of The Humans by Matt Haig, and he pulls it off amazingly. The thing is, it's pretty mind blowing to think exactly how much would be foreign, strange and unusual to something that isn't used to it. Even the way we behave, so managing to get us to feel that way is quite an accomplishment! Yes, I'm sure if you study it carefully there will be a few things where you would go 'How would an alien know about that?' but I'm pretty sure you'd have to go looking for them.

Ultimately Haig has written a convincing story that makes you truly think about your own existence, and that's a brilliant achievement.
