Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
2017 | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Great Sfx (2 more)
Huge action scenes
Good links to the other films
Felt a little long, similar blueprint to the other films (0 more)
Capt Jack has his swagger back
Don't believe the critics reviews! Can't believe this scored 32% on Rotten Tomatoes. The franchise is back on track after the below par previous installment. The Sfx are very good and the overall feel of the film is more like the first three films. It ties in nicely with elements to the first three films as well. Faded a bit towards the end, but this series isn't dead in the water.

I believe this may have been the last one. For the foreseeable future anyways. There was an interview live from Disneyland Paris with the cast at the special screening I went to and they were saying that they were happy to get just one more film in to round of the franchise. Who knows, they may make another eventually after the success of this film (I believe it's a success anyway) but for now we're all gonna have to wait, possibly with no result, but maybe, just maybe, the fans can help them squeeze out another film at least 1.

This is the final book in the trilogy and although it does wrap somethings up it kinda leaves a "that's it?" feeling. The characters do not seem to develop any more than they did in the second book except Marco whom I hated throughout the series. Usually the concluding book in a trilogy is the biggest because all the revelations that come but this was the shortest. I think this could have been done as two books instead of three and ended stronger. That said I suggest you read all three together for the best experience.

This three box set series is exciting, thrilling, and one epic fantasy.
The series follows Dana a reluctant princess and Will a man who can see more in Dana than just the facade on the outside. Together they must save the empire and maybe each other along the way.

This is an epic fantasy that brings you in and makes you want to read all three books in a row. It is wonderful to have a box set that let's you do that. If you enjoy epic romance and an adventure to save a kingdom you will enjoy this.
