"There are three movies the witnessings of which have been the most traumatic in my moviegoing times. Viridiana was one, seen in a London cinema, maybe up between Hampstead and Highgate Tubes, in 1990 or so. Another was Straw Dogs (also available as a Criterion release). The third was The Elephant Man, one of the few movies to which I remember my mother taking me. A commonality in all three (the commonality from which I recoiled) is the cruelty of the mob, which remains one of my biggest fears. I put these two movies in this list because I can’t help but value what they did to me, what they allowed me to comprehend about my relationship to the crowd."

Amos was a blues musician, but now he has Alzheimer's. In his heyday, he was as popular with the women as was his music. The latter took precedent, and he left them all behind, including their three little girls. But now he needs them.

The main reason I was drawn to this book was its three-author collaboration. I was curious about how this would come together, probably more than I was interested in the stories of these characters.

I'm not sure if this worked as well as it could have, but that doesn't mean it isn't a nicely written book with an interesting story. You can read my full review here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2013/10/03/a-trio-of-girls-and-their-off-key-father/

My last cinema review of the year I've been wanting to see this for movie for a long time cause of the pandemic and now I've seen it I rather liked it. It has plenty of action scenes especially at the end of the movie where we see ralf Fiennes in full action mode would have liked to have seen gemma arterton get abit more to do action wise but hats off to Tom hollander for playing three different characters during the movie it took me awhile to realise it was him playing all three cousins but he manages to pull it off. Overall a worthy addition to the kingsman movies. Tomorrow my top ten movies of the year

A perfect short to accompany Micah, Sam and Trace's story. These three are so interwoven, I can't imagine reading about one of them without the other two. This gives more insight into Micah and Sam's relationship, and how Trace becomes more than just a friend, something a whole lot more that is difficult to label. I can't wait to read more about the AKM and these three in particular.

Once again, extremely well-written and a wonderful addition to the series. Definitely recommended.

A very enjoyable ride that spans the gap between Tron and Tron: Legacy, showcasing the origins of the grid, and Flynn's growing problems dedicating himself to the three worlds he finds himself in: the Grid, running Encom, and parenthood. Great art and storytelling, and while we know the inevitable conclusion it moves toward, most importantly, it FEELS like Tron.
