Dana (24 KP) rated Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls, #4) in Books
Mar 23, 2018
As with the previous three novels, I really enjoyed how it was written. The plot development was well thought out and the characters had a good amount of dynamics between them. The ghosts were, like all fo the others, infuriating but interesting. I can't wait to see who this new ghost is and what is going to happen with Kylie.
Percy and his friends must travel through the ever changing labyrinth of Daedalus to try to save their camp. The action and use of Greek myth was still fun, but it felt very formulaic after reading the first three in the series.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2379 KP) rated The Lies of Saints (Nick Barrett, #3) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
In the final of this three books series, Nick Barrett is investigating a 25 year old disappearance. What he learns uncovers deeply held secrets of the rich of Charleston. Another great book where each answer leads to more questions.

Ross (3284 KP) rated Westworld - Season 2 in TV
Jun 28, 2018
The second series had to pick up from the fairly brutal ending of the first. For me, the series got off to a pretty slow, confusing start and only in the last three episodes did I really start to enjoy it. Another very thought-provoking head-scratcher of a finale and set up for a very different, very ambitious 3rd series.

ace_in_space (38 KP) rated Talk to the Paw in Books
Jul 13, 2018
I went through this book in about three days. It is a super cute, clean (with reference to sex, but nothing raunchy), and cat-centric romance. The writing is simple and fun, and the romance isn't forced. Both main characters have pets, including the best feline wingman in (fictional) existence. If you need a quick, fun read, this is a great choice.

MissCagey (2652 KP) rated Welcome to the Punch (2013) in Movies

Contains spoilers, click to show
When you see the cast you will expect this film to be at least decent. However, it started slow, got slower, a shootout at the end and then some forgiveness for past wrongs blah, blah, blah. It took me about three days to watch the whole film as I kept finding more interesting things to do like cutting my toenails!

Jordan (5 KP) rated Divide by Ed Sheeran in Music
Jul 3, 2018
I found that most of the songs on this album were really good, there were only two or three that I did not like. I love listening to Ed Sheeran and other artist like him and would encourage anyone who hasn't listen to this album yet to listen to it. The mood change from song to song is very interesting.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Angels Can't Swim in Books
Sep 24, 2018
This was a very well written coming of age novel which deals with many heavy issues through the perspective of three friends. The characters were likable and also elicited sympathy. Anyone who has had that awkward phase or experinced a traumatic event can relate to at least one of these characters. The way they intertwine and grow is an inspiration.

Elli H Burton (1288 KP) rated Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) in Movies

Like the storyline. (1 more)
The new characters are good too.
Unnecessary but enjoyable
I enjoy it, it has what you'd expect like the 1st three films but this one feels kind of forced. Worlds End for me was the end of the pirates of the Caribbean franchise but it felt like the writer's were just beating a dead horse with this one.
