Hard to read
This book took almost three weeks for me to finish, whenever I am a really big bookworm. It's written is a modern way, with modern language, but really slowly taking into the action. The book is about 370 pages and until the last 20 pages you won't even have a clue what's really going on.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Star Wars™: Jedi Challenges in Apps
Feb 23, 2019
This is the app that you utilize to play @Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges AR . You open this app, follow the directions, and place your phone into the visor. The directions are easy to follow. The app also helps you along, and gives you tips on the three aspects of the game, battlefield strategy, holochess, and the lightsaber battles. The recent updates have improved the app, which is why I'm now rating this a ten.

This book collection is great and it somewhat runs the story together. They somewhat go from one family to another in-twine with the previous story. That is great for it makes some since. I really enjoyed the first three stories in this collection.
Each story is a little different from the next but some has some of the same things in them. Will they make the right decision for them or not.

The characters are on the move in the second book of [The EMP]. Also we meet a new character, John, Max's estranged brother. The author gives each character their own voice by giving each chapter a different character. I love when authors do this because it give you as a reader a wider range of points of view and perspectives to create you own visuals of the story. On to book three.

A decent action film set at the end of the Iraq war. Three soldiers learn the location of some stolen Kuwaiti gold and plan to help themselves. On their mission they encounter the harsh reality of the current state of the country.
It has a fine cast and is well made, without feeling like a hollywood blockbuster. It has the right mix of action and drama, even a bit of humour too.

My favourite
I was quite simply blown away when I watched this . The writing is superb by Aaron Sorkin, the chemistry between the three leads along with the supporting cast is outstanding . You are drawn in from the start, no unnessasary scenes, no explosions, no car chases, just great acting, great dialogue. Everytime I watch it, I'm rivited and it always manages to produce the obligatory tear at the end.

A modern psych institution horror story
Hold on to your hats, this isn't your typical haunted asylum story. The main characters, all teens, investigate the mental hospital where they've been institutionalized. The lines between what is real and what isn't are hard to see. The characters are diverse, three-dimensional and much more than their diagnoses. The writers care about representing mental illness accurately and respectfully, and donate to different mental health organizations.

Sue (5 KP) rated Turn A Blind Eye (A Florida Murder Mystery) in Books
Aug 13, 2018
This book has it all, a little romance, some suspense, and quite a bit "I never saw that coming". It is a combination cozy mystery and suspense/romance, which makes it a great book for all three genres of readers. This story entwines the lives of Libby, her sister Mia, the couple that helped Libby through a horrible time in her life, and Rebecca a mother trying to understand what happened to her daughter.

This is a different take on vampires in modern day. This book was published when vampire novels/movies were the big thing. It was more about the family, with vampirism thrown in. I liked the way the chapters were broken up, and the story was great.
This book ended my 3 book Matt Haig reading streak, and I think this was my favorite of the three. I definitely can recommend this one.
