Hmm
Well I've had this on my Kindle for about six years now and honestly, after finishing it, I'm wondering why it's taken me so long to getting around to reading it.
It ended a little too abruptly but I enjoyed this story. It's been a while since I read a book where the characters controlled the elements so it was a nice change.
I'm looking forward to the other three brother's stories

It's been a while since i read the first three books in this series but i remember loving them in their twisted ways so a chance to jump back into the world of Tarrick and Matthew was a big YES!
Though Matthew is only mentioned in passing, Tarrick, Sam and Jet take centre stage. It was a fun little romp and has got me very excited for the next book in the series!

First is better
The first one was a mixed bag but mainly had some great content so I couldn't wait to read number 2. I ended up re reading some of the strops because I thought I wasn't getting them until I realised they just weren't good. It's a shame as the art work is great and some ideas are brilliant but it pales compared to the first. I hope three is better
Erika (17789 KP) rated Murder Among the Mormons in TV

Interesting, but somewhat repetitive
True crime docs are my jam, and when I read the synopsis for this one, I was game.
It covers weird bombings having to do with Mormon documents, which turn out to probably be not-so Mormon. It's definitely an interesting case, but even at three episodes, it seems to drag on.
Also - I had that South Park Joseph Smith song playing in my brain the whole time.

Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated Summer of 84 (2018) in Movies

Horrorfying Summer
Summer of 84- is a really good comedy horror film. The plot is excellent, thoughout the movie it was creepy, scary, but also funny and dramatic.
The plot: Teenager Davey Armstrong is a conspiracy theorist who begins to suspect that a neighbour is a serial killer. With help from three friends, Davey launches a daring investigation that soon turns dangerous.
Its myesterious but also has dark humor within. I highly recordmend watching it.

The Chocolate Lady (94 KP) rated The Wife, the Maid, and the Mistress in Books

Lawhon has done a stellar job in taking a mostly forgotten mystery and making it intriguing for modern day readers. As we follow how these three women were entangled in Crater's life and how Lawhon devises their connection to his disappearance, we also become entangled into their lives as well.
