Yep, I finished this book already. I was only going to read a littler bit, but then couldn't stop. Until I had to when I suddenly realized someone had put anchors on my eyelids when I hadn't noticed. I only had two or three chapters left, so that was a total buzzkill. Even though the first chapter had me giggling like a loon (do loons giggle?), it's not all laughs in Hyperbole and a Half, but has some truths about depression and self. I never caught Allie Brosh's blog when she was updating it, but I'll definitely be checking it out now.

A cute look-back at not only graduating year, but the first three seasons the Scooby Gang (known as Slayerettes early in the series) spent at Sunnydale High (R.I.P.). There are different categories dedicated to student life (activities, clubs, sport, etc.), the faculty, an actual (smallish) yearbook picture section, a memorial for both students and staff who've lost their lives, and more, plus two eight-page sections featuring full-color pictures of the stars and letters from both the mayor and, even better, ol' Ratface himself, Principal Snyder. A fun little memento for anyone who loves BtVS.

Had a very captivating story line (0 more)
I have recently been in a reading slump and have had to give up on three books that I just couldn't finish. Until I found Little Bee, the story captivated me from the first chapter. Instead of being told from a generic point of view it is told from two separate people's points of view. Which I loved. The two stories come together very nicely at the end through many ups and downs. Little Bee humbled me with her story and I can't wait to read more by this author.

Join Jack, May, and Phillip as they journey through this alternative take on fairy tales. All the characters you know are here, and help or keep our trio from completing their quest to save their kingdom from an evil plot.

All three books in the series are in this set, and they are all compelling reads. You'll want to read them all back to back. There's action, great characters, plot twists, and sarcasm. You can't go wrong.

Trixie and her friends get to spend Christmas in Arizona and Di's uncle's dude ranch. Well, maybe. When they arrive, they learn that most of the staff has left. Can Trixie figure out why? And what is bothering three of the guests? This isn't a typical mystery, but I still like it anyway. The characters are strong and there are mysterious things going on. The only flaw in my mind is the travelogue chapter that lectures us on Arizona.

When their shepherd is killed, the flock decide to figure out who would kill him. The premise was interesting and different but the first half was very slow as we spent all kinds of time learning about life in the pasture. There were some fun passages as the sheep tried to figure humans out. Eventually, the plot did get moving, although between the 18 sheep plus the humans, I had a hard time keeping everything straight.

Fern and Abram not getting in the love. Abram is taking care of his siblings for a amount of time. He is always turning to her for something. The way they get together is quite different from any other way and I really enjoyed it.

Each book or story in the book is different. They found their romance differently form each one. Each story tell a different story. I like this some for that means there are three different ways. Each one is a wonderful read and enjoyment. You can read it if you like and decide for yourself.

We get it, Karou and Akiva must suffer, but do they have to suffer *that* much? Just let them be together already (0 more)

After three books of radically different story telling with amazing, intelligent, and interesting characters, I was ready for this book to end about 100 pages before it did. By the end of the novel, I felt that the Stelian plot was stretched a little too thin, and I would've have been happy enough to see Karou and Akiva fly off to resurrect her people ... screw the Stelians.

Easy to get a game together. As you play you open up more and more cards and decks to play with. Nice way to pass an evening with friends both in the room and far from home.

A quick story: We had family in town. One of the nephews suggested we play Evil Apples. By the end of the night we had eight people playing in three different states. It was such a good family moment... based around horribly funny cards, thoughts and visual images that made some of us sleep badly - LOL.

Good job Evil Apples.

I try to go into these docu-series with a completely unbias perspective. A few episodes in, I didn't really know who to believe. I didn't care for the defendant, Michael Peterson, but that has nothing to do with whether he did it or not. The state's case was a mess and didn't prove crap to me. Maybe the jury didn't understand how the US justice system works?
My only gripe is that it's a little too drawn out. They could have condensed some of the episodes. I thought I was at the end, but nope, three more episode.
