Average Thriller
This Thriller has popped up on Netflix recently very much in the @Rear Window (1954) vein. The main problem is that it's all a bit predictable and rather slow going. Then with a few twists before a predictable ending. The Cast is very good with some big names in the small roles but overall it's not as good as most of other films it gets ideas from.

This is a dark tale of kidnap and torture that starts with the victim's escape but goes on to build into a disturbing thriller.

I liked the darkness but the story style wasn't for me. Too often we had cliff-hanger endings to characters POV "chapters" for them to take too long resolve I felt strung along.

If you enjoy a dark thriller give this ago.

I really don’t know what to say about this book to be honest! I thought I was going to be reading a good thriller but instead, it turned out to be an in-depth exploration of grief and guilt with a bit of thriller thrown in.

The story was interesting but could have been so much more than that; I felt there was way too much emphasis on the feelings of the main characters, which got boring quite quickly, and not enough development of the crime/thriller aspect of the story. The first third of the story was good, the second third was boring and the last third was when the tension developed but this was over very quickly.
