Unnerving thriller with lots of different threads
While elements of this psychological thriller seem far-fetched, there's something ghoulish and almost Stephen King-like in its approach.

Following the narrative of Ed, the teacher recounts his childhood with his friends and the time they found the dismembered body of a young woman. In the meantime, chalk drawings keep appearing, and take a life of their own.

While the ending is startling and worth listening to the finish, at times the back and forth narrative from past to future becomes convoluted and can be hard to keep track, let alone concentrate. A good thriller, but with a lot of loose ends.

Intense, riveting and dark ... just what you want from a psychological thriller about a serial killer in a small town. An excellent read and an author I will most definitely be looking out for in the future. My thanks go to the Publisher and NetGalley for my ARC.

This psychological thriller is reminiscent of The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and Behind Closed Doors by B. A. Paris. It offers an inventive twist halfway through the book instead of at the end and yet continues to surprise until its conclusion. Definitely worth the wait!

An addictive read! The storyline grabbed me straight away. This psychological thriller is full of twists and turns. One minute you feel sorry for one of the characters, the next you are left wondering! A great mix of characters some you like and some you hate. Great writing.

I found this to be a very mind boggling, psychological thriller because situations like this one can and probably have actually happened. There are people in life who are much like the characters in unsane. It definitely left me wondering "what if" by the end of the movie.

This is a film that is an interesting watch, with the subject matter it really works well as a psychological thriller as we delve deeper into Henry’s world of watching people on the screen and the nightmares of his past that are plaguing him at night.

Return to the psychological horror
Loved this movie, a return to the psychological horror rather than the cheap gruesome horror so often portrayed in recent horror-thriller movies. Fantastic cast and premise with enough humor to alleviate some of the stress. Personally the ending wasn't too bad but could have been explored a bit more in the film.

I Excellent Read
I loved this book! Definitely a great psychological thriller. The characters were genuine and well developed. I fell in and out of love with them and loved that each character had good and bad aspects and weren’t one dimensional. Highly recommend this one.
