I found the premise of this novel - a collection of novellas tenuously linked together quite a tedious read. however, it is so well written that I was compelled to read it to the end, yet I still struggled to see what linked them all together. Each story is composed in a different genre or style, from the 17th century to the post apocalyptic future, which shows Mitchell's ability to write multi genre. That is about all this novel had going for it though.

A very good Rom-com re-uniting Tom & Meg again. They have done a few films together now including the similar Sleepless in Seattle. They have a great chemistry together on screen. This is well written and directed and quite funny too, without being too mushy. A kind of will they, won't feel to it, funny to see this was made when online chatrooms were just becoming quite popular. Worth seeing even if you avoid Rom-coms like your in-laws!

Love this series

I have grown to adore this series over the last four books. It has everything I love in it; paranormal creatures, a kick arse heroine, an attractive kick arse hero and a good romance. And thank God that they finally upped the ante and finally did something more than teasing, flirting and kissing! Because as much as I love them together, it was about time they REALLY got together.

Can't wait to read more of the series!

I did enjoy this, and although Caleb was a bit of an insufferable arse for the first 75+ pages, we learn why he is that way and I really softened towards him.

I'll admit that I cried for several scenes towards the end, just wanting to bang their heads together at the stupid hurtful things they were saying and doing. I'm just glad Caleb realised how much of an arse he was being in the end and that they got together.
