I still love this series. A lot more than the authors other work--Alpha and Omega series--which i struggled to get into. I love Mercy and Adam together. Great couple.

This is a series that i could re-read over and over and never get bored of.

Can't wait to read the next book!

Pinocchio (1940)
1940 | Animation, Classics, Family

"I think Pinocchio is Disney’s masterpiece, and I think that it’s such a perfectly put-together film. It has such a beautiful message in it, and so much thought went into it, and of course it’s beautifully drawn, and the colors are extraordinary, and I love Monstro, and the underwater sequences are quite something."

The Godfather (1972)
1972 | Crime, Drama

"One movie I like is The Godfather, the original, because it’s got everything. The lighting, the acting, the story, the performances, direction — everything put together. You can always watch it. If you’ve seen it 20 times, you could see it another 20 times, you know? There’s always little details — that’s the thing, attention to detail."

The 20th century brought many disruptive events to the Greek city of Thessaloniki. Victoria Hislop makes this city’s tale personal by telling its story through the events that affected a few of its families in her third novel. I loved how wacky this book was, balancing a mix of horror and surreal fantasy in a way that kept me moving through the pages. Unlike anything I've ever read, with a quad of narrators, deep philosophy, and the stitching together of Science Fiction and Fantasy in a delightfully horrific way.

Hands down LOVED it.

Just received The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse by Charlie Mackesy in the mail, super excited to read up and write a solid review. Just in first glance the images are gorgeous and they have an interesting choice for the font, we'll have to see how it all comes together 😁😁
