To google or not To google
our buddy duo of Wilson and Vaughn are together again in this technology film about two watch sales man who lose thier jobs and end up getting internships at Google. They are grouped together with a bunch of other interns and have to strive and complete tasks of ideas that they don't know anything about. What they do know is how to work in a team and the willingness to learn. They do bring to the table of street smarts and the fact they have been in the real world while these kids haven't really experienced life yet and need a little guidance. This is a great film about you are never to old to try and start new things.

I never seem to do things in the right order. This is my third Women's Murderer Club book. I have already read 5 and 6. I gave the book three stars because I didn't like the way it ended.
Four women from four different sides of the law decide to put their collective brains together to solve murder cases. Lindsay the homicide detective, Claire the medical examiner, Jill the assistant district attorney, and Cindy the crime reporter.
When three couples turn up dead after their wedding nights, these ladies work together to find the killer. When they find out that the suspect is someone famous, will Lindsay be able to find enough evidence for an arrest, or will the guilty get away?

Camp stalk and slash with a twist
Tonight's viewing was this little gem with a really cool new premise. Guy wakes up covered in blood surrounded by dead camp counsellors and with the help of his horror geek friend periodically pieces together the events of the night and slowly realises that he might have actually caused the deaths. Really great idea and some really good gory deaths including one chopped in half head and possibly one of the best horror movie masks ever. Had some pacing issues and my attention started to drift about two thirds in but came together with a good ending. So all in all well worth a watch.

Old Vs. New
I have seen both the original It and the newer remake and I have to say that both are very good movies. They do have their differences, of course, but I try not to compare them too much because I enjoy both of them. If you enjoy Stephen King then you will definitely enjoy It. It displays telltale Stephen King horror that we all know and love. The horror aspect, while obviously a dominant feature, does not completely take away from the underlying friendship within the movie. These kids from Derry band together to face It and develop a profound bond and connection that brings them together again years later. Overall, a really good movie and a just portrayal of a Stephen King classic.

Gripping from the start
This Ed James book has a very different feel to his usual murder mysteries. From the first page the reader is trying to piece together scant clues about the links between apparently distinct kidnappings as tortured and bewildered victims turn up. The combined efforts of DS Corcoran and Dr Marie Palmer, a criminal psychologist, are needed in order to work out what may have driven someone to kidnap and torture people in different ways.
The pacing of the book is superb as the reader is barely given a moment to catch their breathe before the next twist to the story, or revelation. Some good characters and interesting back stories come together for a truly gripping page-turner.
