starwarsluvr (236 KP) rated A Taste for Jazz in Books
Jan 30, 2018
This was awesome. I loved seeing them get together. I loved the reasons and how they were falling for each other before even know who the other was. The characters are awesome as always. I do wish he had shifted more, but hoping that happens in more of the stories. Loved it like always. I am so glad I got to review it
starwarsluvr (236 KP) rated You Are Mine (Mine, #1) in Books
Jan 30, 2018
Wow that was really good. Some parts got confusing only because there were a lot of characters and plots to remember but I really enjoyed the storyline and it was a very different read then what I'm used to. I enjoyed seeing everything come together and how it ended. That rocked. I am excited to see if more books are to come.

This was a very interesting story. The characters were sweet and amazing. Their love was wonderfully written. Their was truthful suspense and so much interesting things going on. I really enjoyed the way this was written and how everything was put together. This author is a new one for me but I enjoyed her work and would love to read more.
Erika (17789 KP) rated Thoroughbreds (2017) in Movies
Mar 9, 2018
Gosh, I wanted this to be so much better than it was. One of the main reasons I wanted to see it was because it was one of Anton Yelchin's last movies. The music was definitely killer, and so was the fashion. Olivia Cook and Anya Taylor-Joy were great together. It was entertaining overall, I just had unrealistic expectations. RIP Anton <3
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2506 KP) rated 2nd Chance (Women's Murder Club, #2) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The women of the Women's Murder Club must come together when seemingly random killings begin to show the target is policemen and their families. There were a couple of plot points that seemed a bit cliche, but I really did enjoy this book.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2506 KP) rated Artifacts (Faye Longchamp, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Missing students and an unexpected skull at a dig sight kick off this archaeology themed mystery series. The characters are good, but there were too many plot threads early on and it felt like it took a while to really come together.

Dana (24 KP) rated The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices: Manga, #3) in Books
Mar 23, 2018
This was exactly like the novel. I am so happy with this graphic novel! The artwork is amazing. The scenes that made me cry in the book were so excellent. I loved the relationships between the characters. Seeing them all together again made my heart hurt, but it was a good kind of hurt. So much love for these books!
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2506 KP) rated A Royal Pain (Her Royal Spyness Mysteries, #2) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Lady Georgiana has been ask to host a visiting princess. But trouble seems to follow them wherever they go. And that's before the body shows up. This book is part comedy and part mystery and I thought they were mixed together perfectly.
