Roxanne (13 KP) rated New Moon (Twilight, #2) in Books

Bella moans and groans some more....if it weren't for this seriously lacking and annoying character these books would be so much more enjoyable without feeling constantly frustrated. I really like the werewolves and the Cullens are likeable but the 'thing' between edward and bella gets old very quickly, they just go on and on about the same thing over and over again until you just want to scream at them to get it together and stop wasting my time already!

Fantastic all the way
This film is full of magic, humour and the true meaning of what family is all about. A few good plot twists along the way to keep you on your toes, and the actors play their parts fantastically, Harry Potter move over!!!!
It is not just for kids, adults will enjoy the twists and turns along the way too.

I had never actually heard of the book before seeing the first trailer for this show and deciding to give it a go.I was pleasantly surprised on how much I enjoyed it
Sheen and Tennant are excellent as the Angel/Demon respectively who team up together to prevent the end of the world happening. Some good supporting cast members (Michael mckean as the witchfinder general is particularly good) and there are some excellent special effects.

Hooked on this Feeling
Ooga- Chaka, Ooga-Chaka, Ooga-Chaka, Ooga-Ooga...
What else to say? This film was bound to have a great soundtrack, and the fact that it is packaged like the tape in the film, is just the icing on the cake.
With films like this, the soundtrack is a must, since you will have the songs stuck in your head.
The music perfectly syncs with the film, and the two blend together in a great 70s feeling.

Starts well, fades off to boredom
The action sequences in this film are phenomenal. All the car chases, crashes, fights and stunt scenes are incredible. And then the plot comes in. It is fairly standard fayre and just serves to try and sew together the planned set piece action scenes, much like recent Mission Impossible and Bond films.
By the end I realised I had been on my phone and had missed what happened, so it didn't keep me gripped throughout.

Book was provided by the author herself, Britney King, in exchange for an honest review.
I truly enjoyed this novel. It left me gripping for more and wanting to learn more of the New Hope Church, the sirens, the leaders of New Hope, etc. I recommend starting with The Social Affair, as reading in order will help you gain a better understanding of what the underlying story is about and will make all the gaps come together in the end.
