Another team up between Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg. Although not as good as the previous films they did together including @Mile 22 (2018) and @Patriots Day (2016) it is still fairly entertaining with some action scenes. A former cop who is now an ex-con investigates the murder of two cops he knew. It's not got as much humour as I thought it would have but the story was good enough to keep you interested.

What a sweet set of stories!
I had never read anything by Josie Riviera before this set. They were sweet stories set around different holidays, and music.
A very easy/simple read and that keeps you entertained. I give them a 4 out of 5 stars for the cute storylines, the sweet nature of the characters and the easy flow of the stories together.
I volunteered to read the set in return for my honest feedback. The thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

"It’s such a modern film and it was really just taking all these risks and pushing the boundaries. When you know the history about it, it’s so interesting because it bankrupted the people that made it. I don’t even think it was that successful when it first came out. It just kind of built up this audience over years and years. It’s so beautifully shot and the music, everything just came together, and Sean Young. That was a defining moment in her career. Perfect."

I enjoyed this.

It was sweet but boy did i want to whack Lucas around the back of the head a few times for some of the shit he pulled. Yeah, you loved him when he left but did you really think him capable of doing some of the stuff you thought he had? I certainly didn't! I wanted to bang their heads together a few times but they worked their shit out in the end.

I'm interested in reading more of this series.
