Are We Really In Control?
This is another prime example of how we are currently living in the golden age of television. Everything about this show is great, the amazing performances, the plot twists, the incredible visuals, the pacing, the tone and the writing and direction. Hopkins is amazing, as is Thandie Newton and Ed Harris. The other performances are great as well and they all come together to make a fantastic ensemble of intriguing characters in an existential, insane world. If you are a fan of dark, morally ambiguous sci fi stories, then this is the best there is.

A good detective mystery.
The Cuckoo's Calling is a great first book in the Cormoran Strike series. I greatly enjoyed the mystery and putting together the clues. The book was a little long winded and dragged in areas with quite a few red herrings. However, book and it's mystery are good enough to keep you hooked throught the parts that drag. This book is definately for those who love a good detective mystery, but not so much for those who like thrillers. I personally will be reading the following books in the series based on this debute.

Science fiction classic
Contains spoilers, click to show
It's actually not a bad film at first I thought the main cast looked a bit weak for such a big project but they do a pretty good job .the story evolves around an alien race wiped out but a few seeking 2 objects which let them recreate there world ,along the way there a love story lots of action and so many interesting species and ideas ...now the film is very much like all your classic science fish coming together think starwars meets avatar with a bit of startre thrown in ,well worth a watch

Great take on mythology
I'd heard great things about this book, and I'm pleased to say it pretty much lived up to expectations. This is a fantastic idea for a story and I absolutely love the use of mythology. Shadow is a great protagonist (if a little too quiet at times) and Wednesday too is a good character. There's a great twist and the plot comes together very well. My only criticisms are that I found some parts of the story drawn out and potentially unnecessary, and the main ending seemed to be over very quickly in comparison with how long it took to get there.

Cameo appearances were awesome (1 more)
Acting from the leading ladies
Shouldn't be compared to the original (2 more)
Even this film was OTT
What was the point of Chris Hemsworth?
Nostalgic at the same time completely novel
It's like Bridesmaids mixed together with the original Ghostbusters. The wit and humour was completely innovative, not even comparable to the original which was excellent, however, the fact that the original four were super clumsy with their weapons was part of the charm - totally missed in this where they seem to be martial art masters after several attempts. The cameos were brilliant, only missing Harold Ramis. Enjoyable but not on the same level by far.

A delightful concept
This wonderful Pixar animation was hailed for its exploration into the human mind in the eyes of how a child may imagine it. Characters that represent human emotion work together to make up the decision-making faculties of a person.
In this case, a young girl named Riley is facing an emotional upheaval over her parent's arguments and separation. The concept is ingenious, and important for children in the same position, explaining it in a way that is engaging.
At times the adventure side of the happy and sad characters are little over the top, but it's a beautiful film for trying to explore a tough subject.

Initially, I really loved this film. I loved the nostalgia, and the fact that the original trio was brought back. I liked the new characters, and how everything came together. The opening scene was probably one of my favorites out of the film. The new trio had perfect casting, but I do think The Last Jedi ruined it a bit.
Then I realized I liked it so much because it mirrored A New Hope. Episode 4 is my favorite Star Wars film. Yes, it works, but Ep 4 does it better.
Anyway, I'm just glad this trilogy is being given back to Abrams to fix.

What a great, great book! I loved this from start to finish, even if I was confused in the beginning, what with all the species and their codes of conduct and all. Mercy was a very put together character; not too weak and not too strong to be unbelievable. While I do wish that authors in this genre would quit with the multiple love interests, Patricia Briggs managed it quite well, and I look forward to those developments (although I'm partial to Adam myself :P). I've already ordered Blood Bound from the library and can't wait to get my greedy little hands on it and other future installments! :)

Mesmerizing Imagery
An Artistic Masterpiece
The imagery created in this film was nothing short of a masterpiece. The fractured world took on a whole new world of its own as this spiralling piece came together. The film was executed to perfection, nothing short of any film that Cumberbatch has been in, however as much of a fan as I am I cannot begin to see the correlation in his character roles throughout all of his films. Although he is much beloved to me as an actor I watch and hope to find some new angle or twist that he brings to his next role.

fantastic
Instant Family is an instant hit. This movie is so funny and has such a good story. Great cast. This is an hilarious movie with elements of depressing, sad, and funny parts, i could be laughing one minute and crying the next, loved how they took 3 kids in and even through the troubles and hard time stuck together. The youngest child is so funny and reminds how most kids her age can act if dont get their own way, will be watching this movie again at some point. highly recommend for people to watch, its got to be the best comedy so far that i have watched.
