"When I finally set off for Gombe many people felt it would be a wonderful opportunity for me to spend hours reading. A couple of people even suggested I take a good book to read while I was waiting for chimpanzees to arrive in a fruiting tree, or when I was sitting, hoping to see some, on the peak. I was shocked: how could I be immersed in the world of the wild chimpanzees if I was reading books about another place, another time. But I did have one book with me – I was reading it when I left London. It was Monica Dickens One Pair of Hands. I read it many times when I had malaria!"

"A fascinating character study of how another rebel raccoon Meeko manipulates a buncha useless fleshbags into arguing over a buncha Earth units that weren’t even real, just to feed his bottomless appetite — FOR POWER! I always say there ain’t no thing like me, ‘cept me, but Meeko’s pretty d’ast close. He’s even got his own talking tree sidekick, Granny Willow! And look, Groot’s great, but he ain’t got the powers of persuasion that this barky broad had. But Meeko and Granny, they took it too far — they almost started a WAR! Me an’ Groot, we’re all about protecting our galaxy (YOU’RE WELCOME, BY THE WAY). But trust you me, Meeko is the greatest antihero of Earth cinema. Five stars!"

I'm grinning like an idiot due to the end of that last chapter, not the epilogue, the chapter.

Amaranthe and Sicarius, sitting under a tree, K I S S I N G!

Ha ha! Took them long enough. So happy about that but at the same time him deciding that they wont pursue it until after they get pardoned by the emperor. That's another 4 books or so away! I love you guys!

Not forgetting the rest of the group, of course. You're all great but I think apart from Amaranthe and Sicarius that Maldynado is my favourite. I hope he gets his statue in the end!

Need to buy books 4-7 ASAP!
