Not as good as the first book, but I do love these books. I still prefer this trilogy over <i>The Mortal Instruments</i>.

For me this is the perfect way to end the trilogy, we start the trilogy with the birth of Caesar and we end with his death. The perfect story arc of his story.

Back when this trilogy first came out, I read it all in a few days because I loved it. It got kind of ruined by all the hype and movies in my opinion though just like Twilight got ruined with the movies and all too.
This trilogy is awesome although I don’t agree with who Katniss ends up with - I was for Gale and still am. It also crushed me when things happened with her sister and other characters in the story line, but that’s also why it was such a great trilogy.
