Could have more avaliable. (0 more)
Could have all films avalible on all versions. I have UK and it doesn't show every film on it, just those in my region and I'm missing out on some great films if Pinterest and tumblr is to be believed.
Other than that, it is a great thing to have when wanting to stream you fab shows.

Wasn't what I expected
It was a very interesting take on the world war two era, very politically based but an interesting insight on how the UK handled those troubling times. I enjoyed it profusely, it was almost a documentary film if it hasn't already been categorised as one. Definitely worth the watch!

Coogan & Reilly disappear into Laurel & Hardy in the gentle biopic Stan & Ollie (2019)
Focussing in on the twilight of their illustrious careers, “Stan & Ollie” pays tribute to the beloved entertainers by taking an affectionate and bittersweet look behind the scenes at their last great collaboration: a music hall tour of the UK while trying to pull together one last motion picture deal.

Good plot
Better than the 1st Series
I liked the 1st Series of Bulletproof although it was a little bit short. This second series is more of the same formula but with a better plot and and 2 episodes longer. Lots of action, shootouts, car chases largely against a South East London backdrop. Not really any UK shows like this around.

"Half a century ago in 1967 there were two Kaleidoscopes, one in the US and one in the UK. Both were wonderful, but the UK band sang endearing lines such as "My god! The spiders are everywhere!" so I'll just write about them for now. Probably the tinniest band of the 60s, they never achieved mass popularity but psychedelic fan lists rate them higher than the era's supposed classics, due to their ecstatic melodies and gleefully oblique lyrics. "Strawberry monkeys are smiling for Julie, with pearl button eyes that reflect velvet clouds. Can you hear them smiling?" They changed their name to the Fairfield Parlour and stayed just as great. Now that the competition is quickly disappearing, they should get back together and be the most popular pop-psych band in the world, instead of merely the best. If they're missing some members, they can just take them from Kaleidoscope USA. "

Hopefully I am reviewing the UK version of the app. The menu is accessible and easy to navigate through. I have never had an issue with ordering through the app and find it easy to do so. Minor annoyances like defaulting to the last branch you visited (rather than the nearest) and the faff with changing the milk/syrup options but that is probably my fault for my drinks choice.

The Favourite (2018)
The Favourite (2018)

Jesus Christ this one was hard to sit through. Not released theatrically in the UK until January, I unfortunately managed to bag myself a press-only screening. Bizarrely adored by critics, this mish-mash of comedy and drama starring Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz and Olivia Colman of all people is just surreal. For me, that’s not in a good way.

"That's another fine mess you've got me into …"

Drama based around what would become Laurel and hardy's swan-song around the UK in the latter part of their year during the early 1950s, this is impressively cast, with John C Reilly getting the part of Oliver Hardy down pat.

Less successful, perhaps, is Steve Coogan's portrayal of Stan Laurel, maybe solely because the actor is more familiar to me?

I really liked this movie but I did also find it difficult to get past Steve Coogan and me thinking of Alan Partridge

Great insight to law in England
I did enjoy this book and it gave a great insight into lae within the UK why its constructed in such a way and the limits of the law. This book doesn't for ne flow as well as it could as it reads as a dissertation rather than a "story".
