"Akira Kurosawa made films covered in rich tapestries of Japanese history and charged with terrible violence and drama. Yet here, the contemporary and confined world of a rich industrialist (Toshiro Mifune) who is faced with an overwhelming decision is spare, cold, and objective in the extreme. Hideo Oguni, who worked on seven Kurosawa films, including Seven Samurai, wrote the screenplay based on an Ed McBain novel. Mifune, once again, shows why he is the Japanese Marlon Brando, Edward G. Robinson, and Gregory Peck rolled into one."

"I discovered this book of poetry in 1978 and carried it in my purse (pages dogeared) for over ten years. It hasn’t been easy to find the 40 copies I’ve gifted to just about every young woman I’ve met. It includes pieces and poems of race, love, loneliness and violence against women, and the very being of women, written from Ntozakes’ very heart-filled and heartbreaking clear view of her body, her life and the world. The entries “No Gust of Wind” and “Every 3 Minutes” = Bible."

Just watched at my local cineworld wasn't expecting much when I went I'm but I can say it was rather good movie as I've never watched better call Saul which I will now after watching this movie Bob odenkirk sold it for playing every day type of person leading a normal boring life till a incident at home sets him off some of the violence did get over the top but was okay with me overall definitely worth a rewatch
