"I love all of Nick Cave's albums, but this was the first one that I got. It’s very powerful and confrontational, and it’s even a little ugly at times. “His lyrics are always so beautiful, even when he’s singing about things that are quite violent. This record got me into the Bad Seeds, and I became a very big fan of theirs, as well. Nick is brilliant."

"Another classic, more romantic anime. I picked this one because some later episodes take place in New York. I’ve always loved seeing New York depicted in anime. The first one I ever saw was Mad Bull 34 – which is hyper-violent and over the top. Marmalade Boy (as the name suggests) is a much kinder vibe. Also, the basic premise was fairly ahead of its time."

"Number two is Fireworks by Takeshi Kitano. I remember when I saw it, I love the way he marries in that movie… it’s emotional and impressionistic but it still has these amazing outbursts of violence. I can’t think of a single movie [like it] that goes from, in one instance, being very delicate and poetic, to being almost obscenely violent. I think he’s remarkable."

Ok
This mafia thriller was pretty good for what it was. The cinematography was done well and the acting was decent. The story, while somewhat predictable, played out well, though was slow going in the first half. It ended up having some intense, violent scenes(kind of graphic) by the end. If you're into rioting for the bad guy movies, you'll like this one. Worth a watch.
