Dredd- is a non stop action film from beginning to end. Karl urban was the perfect choice for dredd.

Mega City One is a vast, violent metropolis where felons rule the streets. The only law lies with cops called "judges," who act as judge, jury and executioner, and Dredd is one of the city's most feared. One day, Dredd is partnered with Cassandra, a rookie with powerful psychic abilities. A report of a terrible crime sends Dredd and Cassandra to a dangerous area controlled by Ma-Ma, a drug lord who will stop at nothing to protect her empire.

Once dredd and his parter are stuck inside a building no way in or out, thats when the real action begins, killing everyone in the way to reach ma-ma and stop her from releasing the slow mo drug to the world.

Its sad to see that dredd didnt do well in the box office or in theaters, because dredd was a great movie. Its also sad that we havent gotting a sequel to dredd.

Dredd is a highly reccomendation.

Peaky Blinders - Season 2
Peaky Blinders - Season 2

A blinding second series
It’s not often that second series can quite meet up to the first, but Peaky Blinders manages to pull it off. It’s as violent, dark and gritty as the first series with a plot that actually surpasses the original. There are some wonderful performances yet again from Cillian Murphy and Helen McCrory especially, plus some great newcomers in Finn Cole and Tom Hardy. I found Hardy’s role to be potentially a little OTT, but he was hilarious in comparison with the serious Peaky Blinders and I wish he’d been on screen in this series more. The entire series was just hugely enjoyable from start to finish, and I liked how the series jumped on 2 years from the original as it really helped to move it on the story.

My only criticisms would be the cliff hanger from the end of series 1 is briefed over a little too quickly, and that Noah Taylor’s “bad guy” isn’t as threatening as he first appears and is a little lacklustre, it’s just fortunate he isn’t needed much to bolster the plot.

Savagely, sadistically, but (oddly enough) not entirely gratuitously violent exploitation movie. Hulking war veteran John Rambo has retired to a quiet life in Arizona and all is well, until his innocent young niece is kidnapped by Mexican gangsters, hooked on drugs, and installed in a brothel. Suffice to say Rambo does not respond well to this.

Sounds like a recipe for a bone-headed train-wreck of an action movie, and there are a lot of things about it which are deeply problematic: the depiction of Mexico and Mexicans is highly provocative, it's inherently misogynistic, and some of the violence arguably goes too far. But parts of it have a depth and soulfulness to them that is rather surprising - Rambo himself is a highly ambiguous figure, and the story is competently told with a real sincerity to it. The climax is disappointingly mechanical, but the story holds together and it's always a bit cleverer and more surprising than you're anticipating. A horrible movie, yes, but not a wholly bad one.
