Did you know about The Jitterbug?
Probably one of the most famous deleted scenes of all time is from The Wizard of Oz (which I watched last night on New Year's Eve). There is a line the Wicked Witch of the West says where she sent an insect along ahead which is still in the movie, but the song and scene were removed.

The attached clip below gives you the dialogue and the song itself even though the actual footage no longer exists. I actually like the song a lot and wished it was still in the movie, but it will never be.

The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite all time movies and I try and watch it every few years to remind myself that movies are still special and even though I complain about most modern films being not very original any more, they still should transport you somewhere and make you forget about your troubles even for just a little while.

You should watch it again yourself!

There are worse ways to spend two hours I guess...
Please no one say the book is better!

Sandra Bullock was the highlight of this movie I felt compelled to watch because of all the recent hype.

Some unexplained phenomena causes people throughout the world to lose it and begin committing suicide and the carnage begins. Soon there are not many people left and they have a hard time deciding who to trust and how to resolve their situation.

Others have said the movies was too long and I would agree. A twenty minute trim job would have done this movie well. The first act was the best part of the film as I felt the 2nd half lacked a lot of action and was slow moving.

I am probably one of those people who love vague or unexplained ending way more than most people do; however, this one was a disappointment.

I would say watch A Quiet Place, The Mist or Under the Skin instead.

Is it this one?

Or is this a Fifty Shades of Ernie film?

I enjoyed this movie. I was confused during some parts but I did like the ending.

What with Christmas just around the corner, I decided to give this a go. It's a lovely film to watch with the build up to Christmas. At times I felt like there wasn't much going on. I'm not a huge fan of Christmas so that could add to why I didn't score it as highly. The plot itself was very good and unique for a Christmas film. It features a young aspiring journalist, Amber who is about to marry a prince in Aldovia. When she arrives in the country she has to be aware of what she can and cannot do as the Queen to be. Prince Richard is under a lot of stress following his royal duties. It is soon discovered that money was being taken out of the royal account. I just felt that it was a bit obvious who was behind changing the figures and it could have had more of a build up. Overall a good film but don't make the same mistake I did and watch the second one first without realising!

Everyone alive needs to watch this!
Director Peter Jackson spent four years pouring over 100 hours of archive film footage and over 600 hours of interviews to weave this complex, intriguing documentary masterpiece together.

To say the movie is compelling is a vast understatement. I'm glad I saw theatrically so I could bear witness to the multiple audience gasps, applauds and reaction to some of the miraculous moments.

Jackson said afterwards in a making of documentary he had a hard time deciding on the story he wanted to tell vacillating between airplane footage, U-Boats, the use of women in the military, etc. He ultimately decided showing the life of the "everyday" grunt soldier would be the most compelling since any side or nationality would be able to relate.

It doesn't take much to make me cry, so the water works were a flowing with this one. If you have the chance, please watch. A film like this does not come along very often at all and you won't be disappointed.

Not too bad!!!
OK so I will start out by saying, do not watch the trailer! Unfortunately it is one of those trailers that show most if not all of the monsters your about to watch!

The film itself is pretty good it's cheesy got a bit of comedy but overall its just a good monster movie, it didn't wow me but kept me hooked enough to stick to it. It starts out explaining how and where all the big monsters came from, you slowly get introduced to the characters as the story unfolds. The main reason for the film if this guy hasn't seen the love of his life in 7 years, and is fed up of waiting around so decides to take a dangerous 7 day hike to reach her, but with monsters in his way every day is a struggle but he has good company with him, the adorable dog he met called Boy. But when he finally reaches his girlfriend a few problems are thrown into the mix.

Definitely worth the watch if you have the time!

"My family, we only watch scary movies together. We do not watch comedy – anything – we just watch scary movies. The only other times that I have seen scary movies is when I’m watching Netflix in my room. And I think I’ve probably watched The Conjuring 100 times. I’m not exaggerating: I’ve watched The Conjuring a hundred times. I could recite the movie. A lot of scary movies usually just [feature] a bunch of pop-ups, which is pretty scary, but I don’t really think it’s that scary – it catches you off guard and you’re just shocked. But with The Conjuring it’s actually creepy stuff. And they have a lot of things that I have phobias of. It all piles up. It’s not just like, “Ooh that was scary for a second!” It’s like “Oh my God, that’s so scary!” and then it keeps adding on. It’s not a pop-up and then in another 20 minutes it’s going to be another pop-up. It’s: “Why is she still walking towards me? And why is it still getting more intense?”"

"The last one I picked was another Lugosi film, so yeah, he is in every film I picked. That’s funny. I didn’t even realize it. It’s White Zombie from ’32, which is shortly after Dracula. It’s an amazing movie. I’m pretty sure it’s the first movie to ever use the word “zombie” — to use that in a movie. It takes place in Haiti, and Lugosi runs this sugar mill and the zombies are his workers and stuff. Again, he’s amazing, but the film is — only really bad versions of it existed for so long, so every time you’d watch it, you go like, “Wow, the quality of this movie is horrible. It looks like a cheap movie.” Then later, when people have restored things and find them, it’s a really incredible-looking movie. Again, it seems very primitive, but it looks amazing, and he’s great as always. If you watch some of the leads and you just watch their scenes, you go, “What is this, like a cute little musical comedy?” Then he comes in. Again, not f—ing around."
