"I’ve only recently come to watch those films (Pather Panchali, Aparajito, The World of Apu), and they’re just the most wonderful, simple, delicate storytelling. Again, incredibly poetic, and opening up worlds that I hadn’t imagined before. So delicate, and so honest and human. Seeing the whole of human experience related in the microcosm of this little family."

"This TV show just knocked my socks off with its assured funny/scary tone, its welcome eccentricity, and its mind-blowing cast. When actors as compulsively watchable as Sandra Oh and Fiona Shaw take an almost backseat to an actor I’d never even heard of before named Jodie Comer, you know you’re in for something special. Just watch it"

Groundhog Rom-Com
A fun, breezy and a little cheesy Rom-Com with a good story. A guy uses a photobooth to relive the same night to win his dream girl over. Each time with different consequences. The main cast are well known and raise this just above average. An easy watch to unwind to.

"David Fincher, man — Fight Club, Se7en, those things. This was another film that when I watched it at the time I had to watch it again, to understand it almost. I was just entranced with it. The performances were fantastic — Helena Bonham Carter, Brad Pitt, Ed Norton. I just thought it was brilliant and shot beautifully."

"This movie is really painful to watch but I love how intensely it explores the dark, private corners of a child’s mind. It really sinks you into this girl’s subjectivity and allows you to witness things that feel secretive and uncomfortably private. It’s a devastating film, and I really admire Catherine Breillat’s fearlessness as a filmmaker"

"The sheer moxie of situating the story of the story in the end notes. This is the eternal tale of the heartbreak of the homely girl’s humiliation in love, and her parents who have to watch. All seen from the best of all unreliable narrators who may or may not be nuts or a Russian royal."

"You see this film underneath so many other films—it’s incredible to see it just by itself, with that Prokofiev score (and those battle helmets)! Current events have really been making me feel that it’s time to revisit World War II with fresh, even more unflinching eyes. This is a great film to watch from that headspace."

The 'Land of Hope & Glory' Genuinely
One of my favourite films of all time. Perfect mix of action and British humour. The good guys win, the bad guys get their comeuppance in the best ways possible and the script is peppered with stunning one-liners and visual humour. I can watch this again and again - love it!

Although witches have been well covered it's well worth a watch.
When I discovered what this series is about I did eye roll and think how original but Sarah's acting in this varies it for me and makes it less Sabrina the grown up witch and allows more of the characters development to shine through and the story develop.

Watched last night probably the weirdest movie I've seen this year probably won't watch again there were parts of the movie like the maze itself and the part where they all became cardboard versions of themselves and did manage to laugh at some of the jokes that were funny. Just wished it was a better movie
