I enjoyed this series and I do feel as their are stronger American Horror Series it hasn't aged well already.
I enjoy the way it twists and turns although nothing to surprising happens it makes you analyse the characters more then you would normally.
The way different well know murders are included also adds interest.

This show was a pleasant surprise. I was mainly watching for Christina Hendricks who I really like. The story is interesting, the characters are well thought out, and there is a good mix of drama, action, and humor. The cast is great and play off each other really well making you want to know what happens next. I am looking forward to season 3.

Ok
This mafia thriller was pretty good for what it was. The cinematography was done well and the acting was decent. The story, while somewhat predictable, played out well, though was slow going in the first half. It ended up having some intense, violent scenes(kind of graphic) by the end. If you're into rioting for the bad guy movies, you'll like this one. Worth a watch.

I was skeptical about the reboot of this show as a drama, but I gave it a chance and I'm glad it did. It's well done and Jabari Banks shines as Will. The entire cast is great and before I knew it I had watched all of the current available episodes. The story is great and it left me wanting to know more. Overall, really well done.
B (15 KP) rated Stuff You Missed in History Class in Podcasts
Jan 10, 2018
Stuff you Missed in History Class is all the things I wish I would have actually learned in school. From the stories you think you have already heard to things you would not think to look into this podcast covers them all. In the coverage, the overviews are often more informative then hours in the classroom. I love listening to Tracy and Holly tell the well-researched and well thought outlines full of what is promised history. This podcast leaves out most of the personal feelings of the hosts, which is very nice as well. Episode suggestions: New England Vampire Panic and Building Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion.
Cinema quality action sequences (2 more)
Dark and realistic tone
Well-written characters
Appeals to viewers of all ages
Arrow, a superhero drama, has an appealing lead performance from Stephen Amell. This show's dark and realistic tone really brings on the suspense. It has a very compelling villain in John Barrowman's Malcolm Merlyn, whom is a pretty well-written character that makes you understand his motives. Sometimes the show includes The CW's melodramatic moments, which can be extremely difficult to get through. However, the show still manages to pull the audience back in with it's well-choreographed, cinema-quality action sequences and brilliant performances from very talented actors and actresses.

A nice and sweet time-travel romance. Melissa was a well-developed heroine for Rory, who while not as developed and portrayed as practically perfect, was a wonderful hero for her. The story was smoothly written, although I could have done without some of the flowery prose, and had well-defined plotlines. I thought the epilogue was a little bit of a letdown because I would have liked to hear about the children at Freedom House. An easy and otherwise nice read, but it didn't connect with me as much as other books. Still, it really was well-written and the romance between Melissa and Rory was lovely.
Movie Metropolis (309 KP) rated Storks (2016) in Movies

Aniston’s immediately recognisable accent works very well in animation and voice-over performances, but she hasn’t had as much success in this genre as perhaps you would’ve thought. Outside of the Storks and 1999’s The Iron Giant, she hasn’t ventured into animation at all.
Storks is a fun little movie that works well with its brilliant voice cast. Aniston plays an overprotective mother and while her role is slight, she plays it excellently. What works so well here is that we can almost here elements of her character in Friends as she converses with her children.

Alice (12 KP) rated Godblind (The Godblind Trilogy #1) in Books

Well well well I'm mightily impressed Mrs Stephens. Mightily impressed. Easily up there on top as one of the best debuts I've read this year. Easily.
Great characters and plot work. A even balance between omg how cute (<i>that</i> chapter and holy shit how EVIL!
Evil being the overruling theme of this book with a great set of bad guys and an even greater set of good guys - let the Dancer's Light be upon you s'all I'm sayin'
Godblind had it's own flair for the dramatic and the quick switching between points of view gave the book it's own edge.
Can I have book 2 now?
