Supernatural horror
I started watching this movie on Netflix unsure of what to expect. It turned out to be surprisingly good. It's a monster story unlike any I've seen. Very creative and unique. The acting was good and the effects, while minimal, were excellent. The story played out very well and the cinematography was very well done. Kids probably won't like it much, but this one is really worth a watch.

I honestly had not seen this film for several years. I decided to watch it with my family on a whim while we were on a camping trip. I turned it on and realized just how well done this movie really was. There were a couple of effects that didn't hold up as well as they should have, but I was really surprised at how much I really enjoyed this movie.

This wasn't great literature, but then I never expected it to be. It is a nice, easy read though and I thought it worked well as a modern version of P&P, although the second half of the book could have been drawn out a little more I thought - it's not clear exactly what happens to Wickham for example, and I do like my poetic justice to be well served!

Feel good book
This book is such a feel good book and is probably very relatable for a lot of young people, it shows how its okay to be different and that just because you stand out from a crowd doesn't mean you can't do the things that everyone else is doing. Dumplin' is a well written, relaxing and easy read for any young adult

As good as the original
I had reservations when going to watch this as Blumhouses output has been patchy so far; also I love the black and white Claude Raines version as well.
No worries needed. The story is gripping m, brilliantly told from another angle and all those lingering camera shots of nothing (!?!) are so well done. Finally Elizabeth Moss was outstanding.
Nuff said, go watch

"Lee Marvin… That’s a great movie. It kind of sets the benchmark, I think. It kind of puts it up there, because you really engage. And also every part is so well-written. Angie Dickenson… from the female roles to the male roles, the parts are so well drawn. And yet there’s a danger to it, there’s a rawness to it. It’s like an expose of that world, you know?"

"The first novel I read that held together on a regular plane as well as thematic one - as story as well as a symbolic journey. There could be others that work like Jude, but something about this book - the way the author is dealing with ideas like evolution along with the collapse of class culture - made it feel like a precursor to modernism. Like the birth of modernism."

Not too bad
Nor the best body story but not too bad. The acting was decent and the cinematography worked well. The storyline was interesting but the explanation for the 'ghost" and the ending were a little weak. The story moved along a little slower than I normally like but it turned out ok. It kept my attention and entertained well enough to say it's worth a watch.
