Little Sacrifices was a mixture of good and bad. The prose was generally well constructed, precise and authentic.

However, I found the plot lines disjointed and scatty. They didn't seem to be woven together very well, more like levered in to suit the whims of the author.

I was initially attracted to the book by the civil rights themes but found it mainly a book about teenage issues. On this basis I think this is more suited to a young adult audience.

"I love Mona Lisa. Bob Hoskins and Neil Jordan. It’s such an incredible movie. It’s really, really, really good. It was very, stylistically and in the production design, it’s very ’80s, very late ’70s-’80s looking. And it’s one of those movies that has a song that was written for it, you know, like they used to like to do in the ’80s. [laughs] It’s such an incredibly well made film, and it’s so interesting, a really dark, twisted, well acted story."

Honestly, her and Kati Morton are my top favorite youtubers. Tracey has taught me a tremendous amount of things.

Her videos are pleasant to listen to, she's very descriptive, she explains things well, she treats her audience respectfully, she gives out advice for free by answering questions. That woman is an angel.

What if women could find a way to teach men how to behave properly? Well, Eric Garcia (yes, a man) came up with one idea, and he wrote about it long before the #MeToo movement. This novel has been called “Sex and the City meets Misery,” as well as a “brilliantly twisted take on chick lit,” and you can see what I think of it in my review here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2013/12/14/teaching-men-manners-is-no-laughing-matter/

Well done
I've always like Vince Flynn's books. His character Mitch Rapp is a great one. This movie portrayed him very well- little bit of a hothead but a really badass agent. Michael Keaton gave a great performance as Rapp's trainer/partner. If you like political-spy- action/thrillers, this is one for you. Plenty of cool action sequences, a smooth plotline and great cinematography. I personally hope to see more of Flynn's books made into films. Worth a watch!

This was my second time watching the sequel. And I gotta say, while it isn't as good as the first movie, it holds up extremely well and the movie has some beautiful moments in it. I particularly love the entire sequence when Hiccup's mother and father reunite for the first time in 20 years. It's such a well-done scene and it's touching. The middle act feels like it meanders a bit too much, but overall an extremely solid film!
