"The Lives of Others would go in there. It’s just an amazing movie. And then he went and did The Tourist, which, I think, got a 20 percent rating on your site. We look at your website quite a lot. But, [The Lives of Others] was just a beautiful film. So many great movies coming out of Germany, like… Well, The Reader was a Stephen Daldry film, but it was all about coming to terms with their past. And also, Downfall was as well. God, I could continue forever because I love movies."

"Blade Runner, man. It’s filled with endless possibilities. It allows you to think, it allows you to move, it allows you to have different interpretations. As well as that score and that world, that visual thing. I just love it. Through it, we get one of the great scenes at the end, “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion…. Those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.” Every time I watch it, it moves me. It really moves and excites me, as well."

I've missed you
Well in many ways this is more of the same as the first film. If anything maybe the scares are a bit better this time round and there is still plenty of humour between the group. My main problem was the pacing, quite slow throughout and it's around 30 minutes longer the first. It definitely didn't feel as intense as the first one. Still it's a well made film and nice to have a cameo from Stephen King.

Well. I hadn't seen this film in about ten years, so I decided that I was going to re-watch this. Somehow, in ten years, my brain must have edited out the whole middle section with a woman cheating on her husband with two other men... And all of the weirdness that came with that... So that was fun. I did not remember that part and to be honest was a little weirded out by it. But the bank heists were super well written and I absolutely love the twist ending.

Read this book at school, then re read it a few years ago, its as intriguing as it is entertaining, as well as horrifying and the worst part is how you can find things in it to relate to
