Where it all began. Amazing horror story, with a detective twist, rather than violence, even though violence did exist as well. I loved the plot and the unpredictable ending. Saw definitely started a whole new era of horror movies.

Rolling Stone's 3rd greatest album of all time
Superb Beatles album, with some of my favourite Beatles songs, particularly Got to Get You Into My Life and Taxman. Again, a diverse range of styles present and all well delivered.

A series full of frights, twists and plenty of thrilling drama. The acting was excellent and the characters perfectly creepy fitting in amazingly well with the themes of the show.

Extremely enjoyable.

I found this book rather superficial and not very well-written. The characterisation and plot-development were clumsy and lacked finesse. The story failed to draw me in emotionally and I wasn't very moved despite the tragic theme. Disappointing.

"Well, my favorite author is Mark Twain. He’s smart, and funny. Huckleberry Finn, especially the chapter all the purists hate, in which Tom Sawyer stages an elaborate rescue of Jim, is a writer having as much fun as possible."

"The first book I read by him is incredibly sad and so well written. It also reminded me of when I first took a bus across country to New York — so alone in the night surrounded by weird America"

How much fun could a book about crime be? Well, if it involves a group of elderly people in Sweden, a whole lot. Read more about this lovely novel here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2016/06/14/naughty-but-nice/

Technically well done, looks great, story is entertaining, ghost mythology interpretation is fun (0 more)
Doesn’t live up to it’s predecessor and not even close to the same emotional punch, slow, not the best Turn of the Screw adaptation I’ve seen (0 more)
