I have this thing where I have to read books before the films are released, i.e. twilight, mortal instruments, and when I heard this was going to be a film, I just had to read it.

That being said, I wasn't entirely sure what the book was about before I bought it yesterday, just that it was a young adult dystopia story with romance in it.

Either way I was hooked from early on. I think it was when it came out that she didn't fit into any faction, that she was Divergent. Then we met Four, and, the sucker I am for any hint of romance, I was a goner. Hooked.

I really enjoyed this. It had a bit of everything that I like in a story and I can't wait to read what happens next in the series.

Lauren Carr has brought you another thriller of a story. A Fine Year for Murder is dozy of a mystery and gut wrenching. No has any ideas that Jessica as seen a family be murdered. When Dallas Walker starts talking about a case that sees is investing the case called Pine Creek Massacre.

I loved the story and the way it was laid out. Jessica is dealing with nightmares, and things get more intense when something happens to young girls. What is triggering her nightmares? It a book you can not put down once you start to read it. All of Lauren Carr books are like that. She makes you want more and leaves to read her next book.

This is the first book of a sweeping saga that catches the reader and holds them to the very end. You will find it hard to put this book down. I won't lie, it's a slow read at the beginning while Carey builds the world upon the books are based, but it soon captures you into this world. You find yourself holding your breath waiting to see what happens next. How one girl can go on to save a nation in peril and the loves and losses she suffers along the way. Carey builds this fantastic world full of intrigue and a bit of magic from the gods. A must read.

Loved it! Not sure why I didn't pick it up sooner, it's absolutely wonderful! I really enjoyed the cultural details and mythology of Nigeria as well as how the author used physical abnormalities and learning disorders such as albinoism, scoliosis, and dyslexia as an indicator of strong magical abilities. I also thought the characters were well developed and relatable. My only issue was with the climax. There was such a strong buildup for an ultimately underwhelming ending. Overall, I found it to be a wonderful story that fans of Harry Potter will likely enjoy. I can't wait to read Akata Warrior to see what happens next!

Nothing ever runs smoothly, does it? And these twos relationship is no exception. Once again it's a roller coaster of emotion and feeling as Rush is once more pulled between his loyalty to his sister and his love for Blaire.

This series is emotional and you get so engrossed in Blaire and Rush's story that you feel like you're in the story with them, seeing it all happen right in front of you.

I need to find out what happens in the end with these two but I've noticed that Woods' story is book three in the Rosemary Beach series, so should I read his story next or go straight into Forever Too Far?? HELP?!?!
