Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) in Books
Jan 7, 2021
I haven't read all of the Night Hunters series, three or four books but it was nice to see Cat and Bones in this. But I have to admit that I loved this book. I think it was mainly Vlad but Leila was kick arse herself and together they were pretty awesome. The storyline was intriguing and I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens next.

Better Than The First One
Nothing happens, i repeat nothing fucking happens until the last 15 minutes of the movie. I mean somethings happen, but thats once in every 20-30 minutes. So in reality for a 90 minute movie, 4-5 intrest things happen and thats it, the rest is boring, watching people, more cameras and i almost forgot more cameras.
The Plot: When the Reys move into their new Southern California home, little do they realize that the house is already occupied. After coming home one day to find the house in disarray -- but with no signs of forced entry or robbery -- they install a video surveillance system to catch the perpetrators. But nothing prepares them for what happens next.
Zzzzzzzz what something happens, okay back to nothing zzzzzzz.

I really enjoyed this book. The ending is a cliffhanger, which seriously sucks because I need to know what happens next. I loved the alpha male character, the main girl was a tad bit annoying at times, but overall she grew on me. The chemistry and sex was HOTT. I loved it.

Great story
I couldnt stop reading, it’s a book you just can’t put down. You want to know what happens in the next chapter there and then. Unfortunately I’m borrowing from a library and I’ve only been able to read 2 other books from this series. Need and want to know more!

This is a very good book, very easy to get caught up in the story and have a few evenings reading late into the night wanting to know what happens next. Would recommend to anybody and I can see it being discussed in book clubs as there is a real story behind it.
Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated The Year I Became Isabella Anders (Sunnyvale, #1) in Books

3.5 stars, mainly because we didn't get a concluding story. We didn't get a definite romance or answers so this feels more like a serial story than a full length one. That being said I kinda NEED to know what happens next, is she going to get with Kai? Or Kyler (ugh).

Holy crap!!!! Seriously!? The way this book ended...UGH! It is such a great book & the ending definitely didn't disappoint. It wasn't at all what I expected which makes it even better. I don't think I can even write anymore in review because I feel like I need to go find the next book so I can find out what happens!!!
I just can't believe Jace...

If I could rate it higher than 10, I would!
I loved everything about this book: the style, the characters - everything. I found it gripping, I didn't want to put it down, but you know, real life. This is definitely one of my favourite books this year. I just want to know what happens next!
