The first book club read of the year, did I enjoy it yes and no, it started very well but dragged on too long, chapter 30 was where I would gave ended it.
It did give you a look at the 10 year old mind and how they see the world, which I found interesting and what a psychiatrist would make of the end I would love to know.
All together an interesting if not drawn out read.

I really do not know what this book was about. Really the plot is hard to understand to see what it was about. I read it but I was completely confuse by what the plot was about. Other then that I really can not say what I would review this as.

You can make up your own mind what kind of review for yourself. My rating is what is states for I do not understand the plot of the story and it as nothing to do with the author in anyway of writing it most low for I did not understand the plot. You make your mind and it is not my cup of tea for it. If understand the plot more i think I would have liked it more.

Hubble, Bubble throw a mix of Carrie, Craft, I know what you did last summer into a cauldron and you get this low budget slasher. Borrows ideas from several films and then does it in a similar way on a lower budget. Very predictable, but if you're a fan of slasher films it might just have enough going for it to make it worth a watch once.

Why did they have to have Dwayne Johnson with only one leg? (0 more)
All Action Formulaic Filler

This passed a relatively boring Sunday afternoon, but I am still confused. What purpose did it serve to have Dwayne Johnson with one leg? Or did they need something for the (already overworked) CGI Department to do? This was your average good guy with a family trapped in a burning building scenario, it was trying to be eco-friendly (the inside of said burning building was a rainforest) but rather failed. You could see the ending coming even before the movie started!!

"Oklahoma City was a test city for MTV, and this compilation of US and UK punk rock bands – XTC, the Cramps, the Dead Kennedys – came out around the time, and had that same spirit. One song each, blam-blam-blam. You didn’t know who was American and who was English and it didn’t matter – what did was every band was doing it themselves and looking bizarre. And in a world where you knew you could never be the Beatles, here was John Cooper Clarke performing to 50 people and being fantastic. That felt huge. Seeing the energy coming off the audience when he made that effort really did something to me."

Someone bought me this and told me to read it, not sure of what to expect soI did. I loved it. My heart still aches for this women. What things to go through but as a medium and having that gift she must be close to spiritual enlightenment where you are meant to suffer. Brilliant autobiography but sadly further proof there are an enourmous amount of vile men out there.

This is a PARENTING book. If you don't want to read about that, you won't likely enjoy this book. However, if that's what you are looking for, like I was, hopefully you'll find is as fun and useful as I did.

There are some great ideas to have a close, happy, and relatively peaceful family life. They gave me plenty of things to try in the future. I enjoyed that each chapter had a question to prompt you to actively think about parenting and your life. I will be recommending this to others as well as buying a physical copy for those times I forget what I want to try. :-)
