So to get the most out of this book read it during the night in the pitch black! Well that’s what I did 😂 got to admit a few times I actually got seriously spooked and had some crazy dreams! A really good haunting of the demonic. I really enjoy Lee’s books another brilliant British horror writer.

Touched by Death is a simply amazing book that you have to read. There you go, review finished. I've said all that needs to be said. What? You want more details? *sigh* okay, here we go:
The story starts with Lou leaving all she knows behind - her home, her ex-boyfriend, everything. Why? Her grams has just died and she feels lost. She doesn't know what to do, so makes a decision to head to a place from her grams past where she may find a future. However a storm has a different idea, and Lou ends up going over a bridge into a lake. She doesn't die, is saved, but strange things begin to happen from that moment on.
And that is as much of the story as I am prepared to give away. You have the synopsis already anyway. What I can tell you is that Lou's 'journey' (and yes, I'm loathe to use that word) is astounding. The things she learns, the dreams she has, her general attitude, it all sticks with you. You are drawn into Lou's world, hoping against hope that she will get her HEA. The description of the broken heart about did me in, and that's the truth. Read it, find the quote, and tell me that you disagree. I dare you! I double dog-dare you!
It all ties in so perfectly, I can't honestly think of any way in which this story could be improved. The brothers, grams, Lou, Mr Blackwood, it's all here - and it's brilliant. There were no errors of any description, editing or grammatical, that disrupted my reading flow. However, in the case of being 100% accurate, I couldn't honestly say I would have noticed even if there were any. I was so completely engrossed in the story. Absolutely magnificent. Fantastic job by the author. Highly recommended by me.

After reading Written In Love, I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2. I finally did and let me tell you what. I absolutely adored it! Book 2 is wonderfully written and instantly captivating, just like book 1. Ms. Fuller once again takes us to Birch Creek where her readers get to fall in love all over again with past, and new characters.
Roman and Leanna's characters really gripped me! I loved them both for different reasons. Roman's character really pulled at my heart, perhaps because I always felt like I couldn't please anyone know matter what I did. Watching him and seeing how he reacts to the letter from his grandmother, really tugged at my soul. I loved him! And sweet Leanna. Bless her. She's so different from your typical Amish women and I loved that about her! Ms. Fuller truly did a good thing with her character. Seeing Roman and Leanna together, following them through this story, was a wonderful time.
This book is so full of messages of God's understanding and forgiving grace. I loved that. I felt His presence while taking this journey with Leanna and Roman and I couldn't wait to get to the end of the book to see what God's plan was for them. I was not disappointed! Ms. Fuller made it into a 5 star worthy book for sure, and it leaves me wanting book 3! I need more Birch Creek Amish and God's grace in these books. Freddy Ferguson is a private investigator. While walking through the San Francisco airport, a blonde woman catches his attention as she is being escorted on to a flight to Hawaii. She doesn't look very pleased with her escort, maybe this is why she catches Freddy's attention. There are other people in the airport as well that seem to be watching her and her escort to see if they are doing what they should. After she boards the plane and her "handlers" clear the area, she gets off the Hawaii flight and gets on another bound for Chicago. Shortly after take off, the Hawaii flight explodes in the air. Did this woman know the plane was going to blow up? Where did she go and do the people who were looking after her know? Now working with the airline to try and find who did this, Freddy finds corruption in the highest of places. Will he be able to find out what is going on and find the girl?

At first this book started out slow for me. I didn't like taking so much time flashing back to Freddy's life. I'm not sure how it tied in with his current situation. Over all the book was pretty good. I felt a very personal connection to the book with all the places mentioned in it in the Washington, D.C. area where I currently live and in Texas where I spent my college years driving all around the state.
Overall, the book was pretty good, redeeming itself towards the end, keeping me drawn in to find out what was going to happen in the end.

When I first heard about this book, I was extremely interested. There's nothing better than watching a man who refuses to commit be roped in. However, I most certainly did not care for this story. First of, Alexa is really annoying. I understand her infatuation at first, because well make mistakes, but it didn't take me nearly as long as it did her that Jack would never choose to be with her unless there was another person involved. The only times he slept with her were when one, or both, of them were unavailable - this tells me what a jerk Jack is. Also, in the beginning, I thought maybe Jack had called Alexa to come down because he was actually having second thoughts and wanted to see if he still had feelings for her before he got married. Then she meets Ramsey. I liked him immediately and quickly threw Jack aside, because nothing he did convinced me he would treat her better. Each past story of their reunions left me cringing and wishing she would just tell Jack to F off - no such luck. By the end of the book, I was praying that Jack would get hit by a bus and that Alexa would realize that Ramsey could be a good match for her. It was hard to keep up with the writing and, occasionally, the view would change for a sentence or two and reveal what either Jack or Ramsey were thinking; this was confusing. The ending was perfect, though. She finally tells Jack to shove it and, though I liked Ramsey, she tells him there's no room for him. I thought, "Good for you. You've been too obsessed with Jack for too long to start up a relationship this soon." I loved that it ended with Alexa being alone, it's what she needed.
