Groundhog Slasher
A light hearted tongue in cheek take on the Slasher genre. Featuring a Groundhog day angle of living and dying the same day over and over. It has its funny moments and Jessica Rothe is great in her role. Mixed with a bit of a Whodunit? twist with plenty of suspects. Don't expect a violent gorefest and you should like this quite a bit.
Mixed Show
The first series is great, something very different to your normal shows, especially with the Artic setting. The first series is like a Whodunit in a small town with a small and rather odd population.
The following series got gradually weaker and weirder. Ending with a very short 3rd series that wasn't needed. Watch the first series, 2nd if you really enjoyed it but you're not missing much with the 3rd.

Tense and Surprising
This was a gripping book. The characters were all perfectly rounded and sympathetic and it really sucks you in.
There are a number of story threads running simultaneously and, whilst complex enough to be interesting, they never get confusing.
The 'whodunit' part of the novel is gripping yet it is so much more than that - ultimately it is a story of secrets and the far reaching consequences of them.
I really look forward to seeing much more of Maggie James!

Icy cool thriller
Well this seems to have been panned by the critics. Seems a few got the wrong idea and thought this was going to be like The Thing not sure why? ok it's no oscar winner, but it has an original setting for a whodunit thriller. Some of the actions scenes are hard to make out but that was the effect they went for. Overall it's not that bad, it has a twist or two and some action scenes to satisfy most people.

A good 3rd entry
The 3rd in the Butterfly effect series. This straight to DVD film is pretty good and better than I expected. This time a guy uses the power to solve murders for the police, but can he just observe when it comes to his own girlfriends death? A good plot, if you like a thriller involving a serial killer theme or the other films you should like this. Quite bloody in some scenes, and you'll be pleased if you work out who the killer is before the end, I did!

Couldn't put this down
You know you're on to great book when you read 200+ pages in one evening sitting and have to tear yourself away to go to bed. This isn't a great literary masterpiece, but it's a fantastically gripping YA whodunit. The plot was interesting and I liked the structure, splitting it between each character's point of view. The main characters themselves are all well developed, flawed but still loveable. My only criticism is that I was slightly disappointed with the ending as I predicted it beforehand. But this is still a hugely entertaining read.
