Goosebumps
If you are looking to read something that will cause goosebumps then this is the one for you as every single story within this collection will leave you chilled to the bone. I loved all the tales but Druid's Wood, Thin Ice, and The Talking Dead were by far my most favorite ones. I highly recommend you read this in the dark while listening to the sounds of thunderstorms to give you the perfect reading experience!!

This is one of my favorite shows, and the soundtrack by Ramin Djawadi is phenomenal. Evan Rachel Wood is such a powerful female lead, as is Thandie Newton, and I'm always looking forward to the next episode to see what will happen next. Can't wait to see what they come up with for Season 3, but the Season 2 finale was just nuts!

Deliciously dark take on fairytales! Creepier than I expected, I almost didn't want to read it after dark lol. And that cover is gorgeous!

I'm a huge fan of anything related to the fair folk so this was right up my alley. As soon as I started reading it I didn't want to put it down, the writing immediately grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. The plot was one of the most unique I've read among the fairytale genre. I adored the Tales of the Hinterland referenced throughout, they were so interesting that I'd love to see them published as a companion to The Hazel Wood.

Fans of books like Holly Black's The Cruel Prince or anyone who likes their fantasy on the darker side will love The Hazel Wood!

**Thanks to Flatiron Books for sending me an advanced review copy! All opinions are my own.**

Lindsay (1693 KP) rated A Heart's Danger (A Journey of the Heart, #3) in Books

Aug 30, 2018 (Updated Apr 9, 2019)
Things get even more strange as the story continues. Ben and Jessica both want Sarah away from Rand for their own reason. Ben has a little bit of a different plan for his himself. There seems to be something going on and Sarah hear a part of the plan that Ben is talking with Jessica. She could not figure out what they are talking about.

Ben wants to get back at Sarah for what she did to save a friend. He got a plan to get rid of Rand for good. Jessica finds Sarah and invites her and Amelia with her and her mother to a picnic. Sarah feels like something is up with Jessica but needs to get out of camp for a bit.

There a stage while Rand is out for a few days to get wood for the fort. What do the Indians want with him? Rands see an Indian that looks like his younger brother and he does not shoot. What do they want with Sarah when they got her. Will they save Sarah and Rand or what will they do with them?

A Heart's Danger is quite an adventure and Colleen put it together quite well. Will Rand and Sarah see that their love is still strong? Will Rand goes on with his wedding with Jessica? Will Ben and Jessica's plan work?

After a rather slow start, this definitely picked up! However, I did rather like the slow build up - it really built up the main character, Alice. Alice and her mother, Ella, are pretty much ‘on the run’ from Ella’s mother, and some unseen ‘bad luck’. The bad luck is something that Alice could never imagine. I loved the parts in the Hazel Wood, and I’m intrigued to see how the second book in the series will potentially revisit The Hinterland.
I’m a sucker for grown up fairy tales (because I’m pretty sure all original fairy tales were at med at grown ups, and not children at all!) and this did it for me.

Realistic zombie apocalypse game
I love this game! It's easy to play and dip in and out of with new stuff constantly being added. You can play as minimal as you like; you can focus on surviving and building up your base or instead raid other bases and create a clan. I also love how realistic it is - if you chop a lot of wood for example sometimes it can make you sweaty. If you don't get to a shower soon, then zombies will smell your sweat!
