So you're my replacements a dandy and a clown
Made to celebrate the first ten years of doctor who and to bring back the first two doctors William Hartnell and Patrick troughton in my opinion it's brilliant it's a shame William Hartnells role was reduced due to illness but still manages to give one last performance. which gives Patrick troughton one of best performances as the doctor showing us he's still got it and his banter with the thrid doctor at first frosty but over time mellowed. Stephen Thornes performence as omega is perfect showing a calm side then madness at a drop of a hat. Also watched in hd which makes it just as good as when it was shown 1973

A different take on the sonyarns during the early years of doctor who with peter purves playing both the doctor anfmd steven taylor listerning to his doctor voice u would think it was william hartnell plus dan starkley playing all the sontarn voices thumbs up

Not as epic as the previous one with a smaller cast and smaller budget and for two episodes it's good there is a major spoiler near the end which I won't give away here but if u don't get koquillions identity its so obvious who it is anyway good story next the romans

Watched last night not one of the best of the early sixties who but I give it an 8 just for the animation. Anyway to the story itself as I was growing the only way I could see this was the noveliztion which came out in the 80s due to the BBC deleting all copy's from the archives but only episode 3 exits which is available to watch on the blu ray. but thank goodness they animated so now we can watch it in its glory. William hartnell is the doctor in this one there are times he can be heard fluffing his but that doesn't detract from his performance and then there's the chumbleys basically who looking for a replacement for the daleks and not a very good one at that but they serve as a plot point later in the story . Overall good animation not great story but let's hope this won't be the last 1st doctor animation we get

As today would have Jon pertwees birthday today his 100th birthday thought I would review his forth season which was also the tenth season of doctor who a season of highs and lows bringing back both Hartnell and troughton as the doctor plus daleks the master in Roger Delgado last story before his tragic car accident robbed of the best master and then we come to green death probably the stand story of the season the one with the maggots In away it was end of kind of era Joe grant leaves in one of the saddest moments in the shows history as the last shot is of the doctor driving off in Bessie it's so sad.. but anyway waiting for season 10 blu ray to arrive in the post sometime today overall good season

Watching as part of the 60th anniversary of doctor who rewatch anyway the show if anyone were to watch this who they think hang on this seems familiar it is it was remade as dalek invasion 2150 with Peter cushing as the doctor the plot is the same except for one thing the movie doesn't do this is the doctors granddaughter Susan's last appearance for 20 years. One of the best parts of the story is seeing daleks moving around London landmarks like Westminster Bridge. Overall good story

Carry on doctor who
This was doctor who's first attempt at comedy round the time of this was made carry on cleo was on at the cinema hugely popular movies during the 60s and 70s and it does work most of the time the set design the humor and of course nero himself played by Derek Francis who's having a whale of time haming it up as nero but not the best who I've seen but it's OK next one oh boy it's gonna be doozy
