'The as-yet-to-be-released Avenger: Endgame was released a few years ago now!

The first female- led Marvel movie, released between the events of Infinity War and the as-yet-to-be-released Avengers:Endgame, this introduces us to the character that Nick Fury was paging just before he dusted at the very end (after credits) of Infinity War.

ThIs is set during the 90s, and has Brie Larson's Carol Danvers rediscovering her identity (I'll admit, I was a bit confused what was going on during the start of it) alongside Samuel L Jacksons Nick Fury, who is given more to do here than in any other Marvel movie to date (including Winter Soldier).

I will admit to thinking that, by the end of the movie, Captain Marvel is just a tad overpowered: effectively, the Marvel equivalent of Superman

Season 3 of Travis Beacham's audible-only 'Impact Winter' audio drama, which I found to be a bit of a let-down from the previous two instalment, particularly where it concerns what happened to Darcy at the end of the previous entry (I wish they had been braver for the story, I mean).

Anyway, for those not in the know: these are set in the near future, after a comet has hit Earth with the resultant explosion throwing up debris into the sky and blocking out the sun - perfect for the 'creatures of the night' (aka vampires) to come out of their long hiding.

I most definitely would NOT advise anyone to pick up the series here - this is definitely an entry where you need to have read (well, listened to) the proceeding entries in order in order to understand just what is going on!

MILK is the second novella in the Unhinged Holidays series, and if you've read any of this author's books, you'll know you're in for an extra hot and spicy story. And yes, this is definitely hot milk!!!

Santa is on the lookout for his fated mate, the Winter Maiden, who will help save Christmas. When he finds Holly, he knows she is the one. Holly's body reacts in a specific way to Nick's presence, which he loves, and so does she!

Told from both perspectives, this is a fast-moving instalove, full of Christmas cheer, and enough kink to keep you happy. Filthy and fabulous, I am loving this series, and will definitely be reading this one again! After all, what is Christmas without milk and cookies for Santa?
