I bought this movie when the Criterion Collection was half off at Barnes and Noble, solely based on the cover. Then I watched it...
This comedy is based on an unfinished novel by Thorne Smith. Veronica Lake's character is a witch from colonial times that ends up coming back to terrorize the great-grandson of the gentleman that killed her back in the day.
It's hilarious and witchy, and Lake is fantastic.

Weird, just weird
1st time that I've watched one of the Studio Ghibli films and I've got to be honest it wasnt my cup of tea. Bit like the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, with a different storyline arc. Very strange and a bit of a mind trip.
Like I say, not for me, but lots of people love it. 8/9 for some. Just a 6 for me

Modern Tarot: Connecting with Your Higher Self Through the Wisdom of the Cards

Book Favorite

"I’ve loved tarot since I was a kid, but learning to read it has always seemed like a chore. And tarot books for the most part are just super boring. Still, I love this book. Michelle Tea is a queer witch poet and author who does an incredible job of humanizing every card. I brought it to the studio to kill time with my band between takes, and most of them bought copies."
