A local group who have dubbed themselves the Winsome Witches use October to raise funds for literacy. However, this year their leader is murdered. With Jenna’s Aunt Vera a member of the group, Jenna starts poking around to find the killer.

I truly do enjoy these characters, and so I was delighted to spend time with them again. The plot does drag in the middle a bit, but the clues all come together for a great climax. There was also more about Aunt Vera’s supposed psychic abilities than normal, an emphasis I didn’t like. Overall, however, I found this a fun Halloween cozy.

Any writers on here that a enjoy Roleplay storytelling online? A place where you and other members build your characters and interact with one another via posts written to interact with the world created for you, with races such as Witches, Werewolves and more! Then visit http://howlsinthewood.proboards.com/ for a place to do just that. There's more information about the world and the rules on the site, but there aren't many members yet. Everyone has to start somewhere right? So please help out my girlfriend who loves writing and building stories with others. She has put her heart into this RP site and can't wait to make new friends, and watch as the world she created evolves through other people's actions. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

A phone call from an old friend sets Dr. Giovanni Vecchio back on the path of a mysterious manuscript he's hunted for over five hundred years. He never expected a young student librarian could be the key to unlock its secrets, nor could he have predicted the danger she would attract.

Now he and Beatrice De Novo follow a twisted maze that leads from the archives of a university library, though the fires of Renaissance Florence, and toward a confrontation hundreds of years in the making.

I really enjoyed reading this! Loved the discovery of witches vibe I got. The characters are brilliant I loved them all.it flowed easy enough and I didn't want to put it down. Look forward to book 2.

Hemlock Grove is about a family of Upirs (vampires), a werewolves and witches, all trying to keep their identities hidden from the rest of the town. Each season has a different ‘story’: mainly murders.
I watched Hemlock Grove not really knowing what is was about, therefore, it didn’t have my full attention to begin with. However, after the first couple of episodes, I was completely hooked and loved it so much.
My only problem is that they kill off all the best characters; a couple of my favourites were killed off.
Overall, I 100% recommend this show to anyone with access to it.*

*It can be found on Netflix (UK, don’t know about other countries).
