"This book was given to me as a sort of joke gift by a friend, but it ended up serving two purposes: Firs, it’s a great read from one of the true female pioneers in the movie and theater world. Witty, smart, giving the reader a glimpse into an era that’s long gone. Second, the cover has enormous camp value, and always draws attention. So it works both intellectually and decoratively—not unlike some of the characters Loos wrote about!"

It is a collection of biographies of incredible women in history, that was written in a witty and very enjoyable way. Every woman had something to teach us, and it actually boosted my self-confidence, while reading it. The authors picked very particular women, not necessarily very well known ones, but very admirable and influential nevertheless.

Some of these women might’ve seemed negative, but every single one had something to teach us, and let’s be honest, we are not angels sometimes either.

Amazing
If you like your books with a sassy heroine, brooding hero and awesome side characters that will take you on a roller coaster of emotion then this is the book of you.
Hype is a pro at the sarcastic witty and insane characters but this book she has delved further to bring you a laugh out loud comedy packed with action and all the feels.

I am Jack's liver...a mind-blowing look at a consumer-led society and mental health
This is a horror movie in the sense that it feels like a modern-day psycho. David Fincher's savage film is visionary and disturbing. It reveals angry and diffidently witty ideas about contemporary manhood. It builds a huge, phantasmagorical structure around the search for lost masculine authority, and attempts to psycho-analyse an entire society in the process. Fabulous twist at the end. An excellent adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's book.

What a fantastic book! It is well written with a great plot and characters. This book is full of action, adventure, magic and romance. It is fast paced and I couldn't put it down. Gia is a great main character she is strong, smart and witty but she is also practical. Drake is very creative I love the whole book jumping concept. Drake's world building is slowly and beautifully done. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.

Amazingly Witty
I expected it to be good since it was created by Gilmore Girls creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, but I didn't expect it to be perfect. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is timely, realistic, with writing so above-par that watching anything else after watching an episode, leaves you unsatisfied. By the last episode, I was so angry at myself for binging it, because nothing else seemed good enough afterwards.

There are roles that feel like they were written for the actor. The main character feels like he was written for Matt Damon. I did read the book first and it was easy to picture Matt Damon as a witty braniac botanist. Probably because at the end of the day that's just who he is.

This movie is about a man's surviving, not only the untamed dessert wasteland that makes Mars, but also the crippling aloness of being the only human for hundreds of thousands of miles.
